I painted mine Matte White, which actually looked good so i've left it that colour:

I don't see why people always get so heated about a livery editor! At the end of the day it isn't there, End of.

We have paint now so we can have fun with that. And each to his own you could say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

I painted mine somewhat greenish and it is UTTERLY ugly. LOL Guess I have to give it another try. My next try will be much more blue style.

My zonda is black for now, but i want to paint it gold. any idea about some car that can give me a cool gold chip?

The Volvo 240 Estate comes in Gold in the UCD. Must be lucky though. The Jaguar E-Type has also an Metallic Bronze that kind of looks goldish. Also UCD.

One of my may Zondas is painted in HUGGER ORANGE (Chevrolet Camaro ´66). Looks painfully ugly in the inside, but the oustide is marvelous. Since I´m not driving with Cockpitview, that works for me.

"Buy a new one. I think the Zonda R doesn´t generate a Paint Chip, hence no repainting to original. So"

if you do paint it and don't like the color can you paint it black. and will it have the carbon fiber pattern?

Is Poliphony so bad programmers that they are not able to create a livrery editor? I don't so, it sound very strange at least.

I know I'm going a little bit back but there was something that popped into my attention when I read this particular post.

By no means is anyone saying PD are bad programmers, after all they've made the best selling racing sim ever, and it still took them how many years and iterations of the game to have reverse lights? I mean it surely sounds a lot easier than having a livery editor and still hadn't been done until GT5 it doesn't mean they're bad programmers and it's always been a strange omission but it's a fact that it took them so long.

And as others have said, making a car that to your liking is ugly doesn't mean the world shouldn't have it, it's the way people love their cars.

And finally as Richard Hammond once said actually referring to the Zonda "When you draw into town with a supercar you should make everyone's day, if that's just because they have a laugh, supercars should have a sense of humor, they're bonkers".

Now onto topic, weigert what color is that, I really like the look of a matte white Zonda, actually by the looks of this thread it looks like I'll need a lot of Zonda Rs because it looks so good in so many colors.

@ Apollo ^^ It's an old story for me, I was just wandering why PD didn't added a Livrery editor after so many years and yes, the pink story bring us quite a lot of flames :D Anyway maybe they don't want people create livreries on their cars, maybe they are just too slow creating a livrery editor, possible with them, but we still don't know the reason. Only thing I can say is I've played GTR2 in last couple of days.. and there are so many "what if" about PD and their game... My conclusion is trying to understand their logic about game's options and everything not strictly related to car physics is officially weird and I will not try again :)

Nice Zondas btw.

The paint I want is a Nissan pearl that goes from gold to orange to green to blue. IRL the only model I see painted on the is the micra/march

Yeeees :sly: I would paint my Ferrari Enzo that way - they only thing I would add is a huge "Hello Kitty" Sticker on the Roof. :dopey:

That would be my "revenge" to that car - because it was a disappointing "investment".

Yep its by far the worst car i ever bought the breaks suck the nose is light and and the car under steers so bad...

Mt GF has most of her cars in the bright pink u get with the Lexus (passionate Pink i think), summat so wrong about an Enzo, Murcielago an the Mclaren F1 all in the shocking pink color. May tell her she can nopw paint the Zonda too

The Fiat 500 '08 changes interior colour when you paint the car (I was hoping PD'd implement this because it's the same in real life). Mine is Sky Blue. =D

That's for silly people don't do it 👎 Pd should avoid pink colors in supercars like Ferrari, Aston, Jaguar, Lamborghini because you are basically clawing and trolling with it, Pd mentality is people don't troll with their cars. This is the main reason why we don't have a livrery editor, because of this silly people :grumpy:
Anyway a Lime Green Zonda R (or other decent colours) would be something interesting.

While I going to guess the real reason they don't have a livery editor is the technical difficulty, I do find it interesting that the "ugly cars" reason is used to defend the lack of a livery editor pretty often but I have seen far more gaudy pink and green cars and crazy colored wheels in GT5 than I have seen anything remotely bad in Forza...

Seems like a case of giving up a lot of good out of fear of a little bad that came through anyway.
