I actually must thank you for the Dutch Customs Z Cup. Daytona road have always been the track I liked least, mostly because I couldn't get to grips with the first turn. Thanks to this event and your tune, I can now say that I not only like racing this track, but also simply love the first turn. There is a feeling when braking in it that you don't get on any other track in the game.

Had another fun day driving at the, DutchCustoms Z Cup race! Just need to stay on the track more today, other than that had some great races. I really like Daytona Road Course, hope they keep it and bump it to 650pp.:dopey:👍

Had another losy attempt at racing here tonight (even though I wasn't in a Z, because this is the only place people race now). Problem is, lag is 100 X worse for me lately, and indeed I'm getting disconnected quite a lot.

I'd say thanks too if I actually had any racing.:dunce:

What part of QLD are you from AUSnicko9?

Hey Paulie, yeah the racing would've been even better with you in the field. And the Sunshine Coast is where I'm from.

Mmm, perhaps a bit too far lol, I live not far from Willowbank Raceway.:)

Few races i was in at the end were great, 3 wide a few times with Mad94d and someone else

And theres no lag with just NZ/AU so you can get as close as you like

Thanks to the AU/NZ crowd.👍 It's always great fun racing you guys. As Tizzla said, we were 3 wide a few times and there was no lag, so you can get really close to other cars.

No lag?!:( My internet connection must be dying, there must be something wrong.:nervous:

My internet connection is only 40kb per second, which is slow, and I got no lag. But I do have big problems connecting to most people.

Maybe lag wasn't too bad tonight, I don't know. I only tried entering 2 races, one was in a Mustang so I was watching from far back before getting DC'ed after a couple of laps, the other I suspect my brother used the internet when I started and our connection can't do 2 things at once so I got DC'ed instantly. Lag was really bad for me and not others on the weekend though.

I took a bit too much grass in the Bus Stop yesterday when you and I were in a fight. It was stressful to have a Volcano behind you. :nervous:

Well,

I get into stress starting upfront knowing there are all these GTP tagged racers just eager to pass me like i'm standing still ( or driving with the handbrake applied) :)
And that the cockpit view form the 350z ain't wide enough isn't helping too either.

No driving for me tonight I'm afraid, I have some other stuff and games to attend to. Will be racing tomorrow though. :)

Cant remember it... but thanks. I use Dutch Custums tune, very nice ride :) Highly recomended! P.B with DC tune: 1.59.4 (no draft)

I started too with the DC tune, but the best I could do was a 2.04. That ain't good enough to keep up with the fast guys i noticed.
Changed a few things, mainly the gearing and some fiddling with the suspension. Now I can do some mid 2.01's to 2.02's and with slipstream I've managed to get the magical 2.00 barrier

I did a 2.00.3XX with the Dutch Customs tune just now. No draft. High 1.58 with good draft from Mr Dutch Customs himself. :)

I would like to get under 2.03, tried the Dutch Custom but with my hands and a controler just can't keep it on the road, so go with my own tune, got it down from 2.08 but that's about as far as it goes. :grumpy:

It can be done with my tune as well. :) If it fits your driving style that is. ;) I usually drive 2.02s and high 2.01s.

Then you find out that FAK does 1.58 in free air, and that's when you break down in tears and throw the controller through the window. :ouch:
