Bit of a slamming the brakes moment there on the first corner. Didnt work, still rammed drama-Kyd, who had spun, about 20 metres off into the gravel, sorry about that.
Think I've got the hang of this car and this event now though, so hopefully I'll be a lot less awkward and a bit more competitive in the next race.

Sorry Donk i think i knocked you off or something.

And then what happened......

Please make up your mind which side of the track your going to wait on! Because I made a real fool of myself then. :dunce:

That was backed up a fair bit. I happily sat back then, but my chance never came. :dunce:

I've never seen a field backed up all race :P

oops sorry i was waiting for Donk and then i saw you, i tried to get on the barrirer but couldnt get their in time.

Nice races dudes 👍 sorry for a few bumps:ouch: Talking about it, from what i saw in that hour and a half of racing, i noticed that "almost" everybody was doing some crazy passing... me to a few times:guilty:! The only exepcions were Vaxen and el-zissou for what i could tell! It seems everybody wanted the golden cup at the end  High competition here:sly: and besides it all good sportsmanship:tup:

thanks horde, had a nice time racing with you. that was an impressive win you had on the race where we had 6 or 7 clios in a line at the front :)

sorry if i bumped some of you guys, was driving the clio under the nick NL_Joost, today wasn't my day...normally I can drive 2:17:xxx for 4 laps in a row. It was just completely impossible to overtake with my crappy setup and the freaking internet was laggy as hell here + I sucked big time.

I tried my best:)! Been fun racing with you also dude, and from what i can see you are the fastest around here, maybe coz your more consistent:tup:! But yesterday i won more races with the NSX:sly:. Now im just confused wich car to choose lol! If only i could put some R1 tyres in the Honda without sacrificing the PP would be great! instead i used S3 tires:yuck:... but at least was funny when you all tried to get out from my slipstream in the straights and those clios didnt have HP to pass me:lol: Maybe ill stick with the clio its easier to drive:)

Clios have taken over the event, to be sure, but it's led to some fantastically close racing.

I was in one race where we had 7 Clios in a pack at the front, separated by no more than 3 seconds, for the first 3 laps of the race.

It was a huge wake-up call to race on the PAL servers at a peak hour yesterday and find that running 2'17s in a NSX put you at the back of the pack (while on the NTSC side that generally means you will win by at least 20+ secs over 5 laps).

With everyone running Clios in basically the same type of tune the racing is fast, rough and very close. I was shocked to find how much more physical the racing is since the last time I raced PAL racers in the old Ferrari events. It was a change of worlds to say the least. Very different racing from the NTSC or Asian servers.

I hope to be able to find some time to join the PAL servers at peak time again soon. At least I know what I can work on at night in NTSC land until then.

Great racing as always out there though. Some things never change.

I might have to try the Clio, as I do enjoy being competative and racing for potential wins (like yesterday in the TVR cup). Last time I did use the Clio it was for 650pp and that was the 'tuned' version so, perhaps it'll be slightly more enjoyable to drive.

I'll give it some time tomorow.

It makes running anything but a Clio, quite a challenge to avoid being crashed into by them. Whilst I still made my fair share of paint trades (it's very unfortunate that GT5p crash physics are about as accurate as a 5year's spelling) I found it was incredibly un-nerving having several Clio's around me in the esses, as I believe a lot of the drivers are expecting you to follow the same lines as a similar speed. When you get slightly out of shape, it can turn into chaos as it seems a lot of the Clio's simply are not prepared for it.
