TBH, I'm not entirely sure how to read that. It could be saying that road cars, which have less grip than race cars, are more improved by the update.
I know right? But it seems to me that the update will decrease the grip of road cars. -> which exhibit less grip on the road.

Idk

Is that quote referring to less grip than before or less grip than race cars?

I think this otherwise they won't have improved controllability that's for sure.

As usual, best not to try and guess what PD mean, just wait and see! All we can be sure about is that PD think they've 'improved' the physics.

yeah that fills me with optimism

Perhaps, just perhaps, he started this thread to say 'HEY, LOOK AT ME' rather than to actually stop play GT Sport...

We will never know...

The road car physics aren't bad. It's the tyre models that are terrible.
The sport tyres are a laugh and if anyone thinks they are realistic they have clearly never driven a real road car at any sort of speed.
My diesel A3 with cheapo tyres and guff suspension can get round corners faster than most of the sports cars with sports tyres can in GTS. It's not realistic at all. More difficult does not equal more realistic.
