Dodge Challenger SRT8 Reviews

"OK have run a few laps and I must say I am very impressed.
Slight understeer which is understandable with that much weight on Sport softs but extremely drivable.
Well done" GT_COL

"I took my STR/8 [SRT8] for a spin today and as you can imagine getting a nearly 1900kg car sideways was not that hard. What I found was that lowering the suspension helped with cornering and handling in general, otherwise I'd say it's a good set up ya got here.(it should be noted that I was using sport hard tires and two of the four laps I did were in the dark. All testing was done at La Sarthe 2009/time change/weather change.)" Lexus ISF Reviews

"I had the pleasure of receiving a Lexus IS F from you today so I thought I should take it for a spin.
First let me say who needs 8 gears!! I will wear out my gear change with this thing.
For an automatic driver it may be alright.
As for the tune once again it suffered from understeer on the track but I was pushing pretty hard for sport softs so I decided to take it to the Nordschleife and I was pleasantly surprised. Driving at about 99% it was predictable and quite fun.
Keep up the good work." GT_COL

"After trying out your ISF tune I was really impressed with how little understeer there was in the car. It became such a pleasant car to drive on the nurburgring with sport soft tires! The rear slides out but is very manageable. Overall the car is very balanced and I wanted to write my input on the car before adding more power and reducing weight to bump it up into the 550-575pp range. Nice work!"

I'll try your IS-F tune out. The car definitely has a lot of potential in the 575pp class as it out-accelerates mostly any street car infront of it. Eliminating the immense understeer would make this car amazing.

@GT_COL Thanks for the review I will try and work on the understeer later on today. The Lexus IS F tune was developed on the Nordschleife

I will send you a friend request later today. There is one thing you must agree to before I send you the car. You must write a review of the tune once you have tested the car. Let me know thanks

Thanks for the review I spent quite a lot of time in the Lexus ISF on the Nurburgring myself.

Hello: tried your Camaro tune out today. turned a 1'35.947 2nd attempt after loosening your set up a little. Its good for the kind of driver I am. Question: by adding wt. to achieve 50/50 F/R wt. ratio you balance the car but can't you compensate for the weight differences in vehicles with spring & damper variations where adding wt. would be a handicap to your vehicle. Just asking. Iam not a tuner. You are. Nice set up . Thanks. I am going to try the others you have listed. Just noticed the reason between your time & mine. Race tires.I'll try again with sports & take the loose out that I put in.

You kind of lost me in the question mate. I tune cars by how they feel on the track I am not the most technical tuner. As for the Camaro it is still being fine tuned as I have been so busy these past few weeks I have not been able to get to it. That and I'm trying to get used to my Logitech G25 I picked up recently. All of my cars have been tested on Sports Soft tires but they will perform better on Racing tires.
