Pc spec thought ?

My friend will give me his old pc. What should I expect from this set up. Would I be able to play at automobilista 2 and assetto corsa with mod ? I don’t need the best graphic 4k. I had a ps5 for that

It's difficult to know because i7 could be a CPU from many different generations, and you don't have info on motherboard chipset, RAM speed or anything like that. GTX 970 is quite old, but should give you playable framerates at 1080p as long as you don't expect to get high framerates or use high graphical settings.

If he's just giving it away to you, obviously it is a good deal. Otherwise, a new budget build might be a better idea.
