Official Gran Turismo account in Twiiter made this tweet and asked from fans in wich country would you like to make the next fictional track.. Are they searching for some new ideas? 🙏 :):gtplanet:

It’s just a neat little social media engagement tactic, not an official “most votes = next project” kind of thing 🙂

So long as the track layouts are good, doesn’t matter where they’re located really.

More original city tracks that I want that haven't been featured yet include:

Buenos Aires
Edinburgh
Hawaii
Kyoto
Los Angeles
Mexico City
Osaka
Rio de Janeiro
San Francisco
Sydney

How Polyphony should do these circuits is try to make the most picturesque landmarks into at least three layouts (short, medium and long layouts, like in WipEout Fusion) in order to highlight all the elements of these cities, so that it feels like you're really there.

Added bonus: More international representation as we have race tracks in Argentina, Scotland, and Mexico, countries that haven't had racetracks in the series yet.
We already have the Kyoto Driving Park.

Fan favourites like Trial Mountain, Deep Forest or Grand Valley didn't have real locations, and it didn't impact the quality of the game at all.

Make a good looking circuit that's enjoyable to drive and race on, and you can put it in any fictional location.

All this real world location indulgence for fictional tracks is just fluff, there is no point wasting effort in picking and researching fictional places if the tracks you make are half-baked like St Croix

The trees indigenous to the area would be an exception as we saw recently, but yeah, barring unique indicators I doubt many would give two hoots where a fictional track is supposedly set.

A few locations from my home country:
Mount Dandenong
Hall's Gap
Yarra Glen
Adelaide Hills
Uluru
Mount Cootha
Mount Wellington
Mount Hotham
Lake Eyre
Surf Coast (including the Great Ocean Road)

Mount Dandenong
Some great roads up there; it's just up the road from me.
The Black Spur springs to mind. Overtaking would be a bitch 'though. :gtpflag:

They'd mess up the foliage though probably. That location has very distinctive foliage and I doubt PD could capture the beauty of it.
