Seems to work fine for me? But our versions are obviously different too...

So you must be running MS Office 2000, or at least have it installed? I am running OpenOffice cause well, I'm a cheap ass. Know if this will work?

Ahh, your version is the beta I sent you and I made changes to it since. I guess I messed the coding up when making the changes. I've found the problem and will update the first post tomoz.

In the meantime here is something I wrote today while I was rained off work today. It's a Drag and Drop application that quickly gives anyone wishing to find out more about a GT4 replay file.

Displays:

All GT-Mode Replays
All Arcade Mode Replays
All Licence Test Replays
All Mission Test Replays
All Tracks/Courses
Replay Format
Replay Number
Replay File Type
Replay File Size
Replay File Date & Time Created

GT4 Replay Reader:

It seems no one is interested in this handy tool.

To bad and true,sadly.

And the frase "I hope this replay is the right one" will be in the GT community for in lenght of days.

While it was not neccesary.:odd:

Thanks for the time you have spend to make it,Jerry.

Thank you Jerry for the new replay manager, much appreciated ;)

I guess you deleted the link for the manager in the first thread? Is it posted somewhere else now?

You can now download the GT4 Replay Reader at the PS2 Save Tools WebSite
ps2savetools.com

Download page ps2savetools.com/download

Thanks to gothi for a great site.

I'm hoping to get the Replay Manager uploaded there by the end of this week. I'll post here when it's up.

Yes.

All this application does is decipher the .MAX file into readable parameters for you to see on the screen.

Would anybody be so kind as to point me towards where I can find file format information etc for .max replays? I'd be quite interested in developing a linux tool for identifying what's in a replay file.

Hey Jerry.

Lost my old "PDQ Replay Manager" in a harddrive format. And now I cant find the original "PDQ Replay Manager" in here anywhere? Have I gone blind?

Instead I downloaded the GT4 Replay Reader. Very nice 👍 ...but I sort of miss the old interface and full custom naming. ;)

I have a copy of the PDQ Replay Manager if you want.

Hi Cyril. Thanks a lot. Would love that.

Sjaak also just sent me one, but it couldn't start up. Apparently it needs a certain file.

Sadly I lost a lot of data a few months ago and this was part of it. I also lost the source code and the excel sheet that contained all the ID codes for every track combination, over 300 combos and many hours of work lost. :(

Sorry to hear that, Jerry. It was great work. 👍 And it still is a cool tool.

But why doesn't the Planet have those tools for download btw? A question about rights?
