Also that issue i had with the windows machine is a no go :irked: damn thing wont recognise any USB peripherals (Piece of kack dung box MICROSHAFT running big jobbie):grumpy: :grumpy: i tried everything and nothing works :mad:

I thought the device manager would detect USB ports even though there is nothing connected, because it senses all the other ports.
Mac OSX does this regardless of things connected ..

Am i right in asumming this with the windows device manager..?

Well I went back to bed myself this morning ( pissin it down ) got up again at lunch time and done sweet FA all day :)


Pedro , sorry to hear that you couldn't get the xport running on the PC (Piece of Crap) the device manager should show you what's there regardless of being connected :confused: I guess you got a gubbed puta there :P hopefully that V.PC thing you're on about will work for you :D

wow, thanks guys!! :D I havent been around in a couple days, been hangin out w/ my friends from out of town, thought I'd come and check in. No im not quite hungover YET, its only 11 in the morning right now. hehe so ive got a few hours at least before i start the celebration. :)
 
:D :D :D :D :D :D :P Sorry im so happy :D I it done it my theory was correct i now have x-port capabilities woo hoo..

Had a few problems at first with initial instalation of V.pc but managed to iron these out..

downloaded a couple of Rons replays and it works like a charm, Nice to finally see you in action dude,nice run at TMountain reverse in the speed six..

I will post up a test replay soon just to check everything is in order

Cheers it will be one of my TT runs i don't have many replays left because i only have the 1 Mem card ,but thats not an issue now..

I will need to buy another Mem card as i have 23 other Game save on my 1 and only card so it doesn't leave much room for replays..

Hopefully now my skills will improve watching some of the great replays i have missed in the past :D

Hey what's up with my replays? :grumpy: :lol: mine are a bit more erratic and all over the show than Rons, less boring to watch :D (j/k Ron :P)

I suggest you back up the entire card of yours, make a folder 1st to send it into then all your replays are safe in your pc ...now go into normal card operation and clear all your old crap, make room for some more replays. How many kb's are left on your card? I let mine run right down to 200kb before I scrub the old stuff :D

Also we watched your replay, it was your TT9 👍 you could easily improve that by chasing this ghost here ;) :mischievous:

Sorry Kel don't worry im planning on watching your replays also , we've had some close battles so it would be good to see those..

the current state of my card, without any replays i have room for 10 or so replays :( i've had to delete some good runs so i could keep racing in the series, i was gutted to do this ,but had to be done
But at the mo my card stands at 4K remaining :eek:
I think i have my Vertigo run still and a couple of others that i will post up in Max E's replay thread..

Have you backed the card up ? it's easy enough to find your replays from your folder with Arwins replay manager, so if you ever need to find one to post you can use that to track it down and rename it to whatever run it is 👍
 
Done got what is left of my replays in a nice wee folder :P

Still got to install Mk's and Arwins replay software ,might get round to doing that tommorow..
another couple of bits of software i need to get to grips with..
Im using windows 2000 to run everything..still trying to get used to it all ,it's so much different to what im used to ..

Now i can continue on my racing line quest :D the lack of proof put me off putting anymore times up on their database.
I arranged with Rob over there for me to stick all my replays onto VHS and send them to him to check ,but that was a bit of a hassle..for both of us so i stopped running any laps..

Im looking forward to fixing all of my Gubbed cars in Mk's :P and making some hybrids for a laugh :D

Got Mk's loaded up now :)

How do i fix all my GUBBED cars..? any suggestions, Plz keep it simple because im a dumbass cheers :P :)

I fiqured out how to upload my garage into Mk's but everything else is a bit confusing..
 
1. Find a car in the loaded garage that you dont mind getting rid of .

2.Highlight in the column that says car type ( for the car your getting rid of ) right click and press 'change car' ...you then get a list of all the cars pick your car, press select at the bottom . That's it, the car then changes, you can change colour by highlighting 'body colour' then click 'change part' your choice of colours choose one and select .

3. When you've changed your cars and are happy click the file (top left) and click 'write garage' then find the data save you loaded into mk's in the first place and click that and overwrite it .


4. Now all you have to do is tranfer that save data back to your memory card via the Xport ...overwrite when it asks you .

Load your game back up and you have all them fresh new cars for free :cool:

Simple enough ? :D
