Permanent Borrow Glitch Trading Thread

Does anyone have, or can someone make, a hacked Red Bull X2010 in purple metallic (dealership color) they can share? I'd love one in my favorite color. Thanks!

Ok that will work if follow the instructions found in this thread. Also that other way is much faster I'm told, I never tried it myself.:guilty:

Hello guys i am a new member and i have one question about borrow car.
I do step by step this manual:

1. Back up current save file to a second [or third] location. [I.E. PC, USB flash device, or external HDD.]
2. Start up Gran Turismo 5 and borrow a car from someone on your friends list.
3. Save your game. [You don't have to due to auto save, but I always manually save.]
4. Quit the game to the XMB.
5. Delete the GAME DATA, NOT THE GAME SAVE. [It will take about 5 minutes if it's the first time, it will delete quicker after this first time. The Game DATA is located in the top folder on the 'game' tab in the XMB.]
6. Start up Gran Turismo 5.
7. Refuse to download patches. [Press CIRCLE when the message comes up.]
8. Refuse to install the game to HDD.
9. When the game loads, go in to 'GT Mode.'
10. You will see you own the borrowed car [letters not red, no key next to it], but make sure you change to a different car from your garage. [Do NOT buy one from the NCD or OCD.]
11. Save your game. [Again, you don't have to due to auto save, but I always manually save.]
12. Quit the game to XMB.
13. Start up Gran Turismo 5.
14. Download the game patches/updates.
15. Refuse to install game to HDD, unless you won't sponge again.
16. Go into 'GT Mode,' go to your garage, check out and enjoy your new car. (you can find at 1st page of this topic)

Now my problem is in step no9, gt5 can't start with out update with results next steps will be lost.

Download the first patch (around 650Mb or so) and let it install. Refuse after this one.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it, I'm stuck after I installed the 608mb patch, my screen displays "gran turismo 5"

Don't waste your time on this Old-School Glitch. It's outdated 👎
Get that "Borrow App" if you are a Windows user. :)
Google will tell you where to find it.

A 'big shout' for 1000 cars shared, that's 6 cars every day, for... 167 days. Wow, how kind of you.

Dude you can buy half of the cars in gt5 their cheap
and just do the seasonal races and get lots of payouts.

I can share something, not everyday or not every week but sometimes :)
I can't do better now.(1000 cars is pretty much to ask, maybe play bit yourself? )

I would love to understand how I am doing such a thing? I've posted twice in response to anything you've said on this site.
One, was my blatant sarcasm above stating how you wanting someone's half-year spent to help you gain 1,000 cars for nothing more than a 'big shout out' is the most unfair request I've seen yet on my years here at GTP.

Edit: I suppose it's up to the other user to determine what's 'fair'. My standards are based on what the current trading system has been around here since, well since I joined.
If you feel that I was harassing you, I assure you that was not my intention. And for that I apologize. I however, stand by my belief that your request is absurd. But, that's my opinion, and not actual fact.

I do! It's a got a ton of miles from it's tenure as a rubber bander on Indy but I can do a restoration on it before I share her for you!
