Permission needed?!

Hello everyone!

I started making some custom GT4 DVD covers .

My question is: Can I use the pics from the Photomode Competitions and do I need the permission from each author?

If it's for personal use, I don't see any reason why you can't use the photos. But if you're publicizing it then it would be common courtesy to ask the original owner.

thats a pretty cool idea, but you should give credit to each person at least, like you did with the cover image.

So if youve got a nice color printer you can just print these out and put them in the case? nice 👍

Then again, the guys that actually MADE the actual cover probably didn't have Photomode (and 50000 submissions) available

I saw this thread right when you started it, and I was going to comment but I didn't. It did send me thinking about my Solstice as a cover and I was going to work on trying something like that, but you beat me to it. And you did a damn good job at that. I think I would have preffered that you ask me first, however, since you did give credit at the bottom of the front I'll let it slide. Now, just remove that 'sample' from across there so I can print it and use it for my cover! Perhaps just PM me with the non-sample one or something. 👍

I make it the covers just for fun and 100%-ly non-profit. Thanx for the fast answer

Glad to hear you like the Cover!
It was possible only with the help of the great pics you and the other guys made.
I'll PM you the link to the non-sampled pic and later I'll post the non-sampled pic with credits to all authors of the pics I used.
