Update I made it in to the 27's in GT mode.

GT mode and full tuned Commodore SS 1'27.790 :)

Arcade: Monaro CV8 1'49.093

I ran the Monaro in GT Mode today, seen as it was the only combination i had yet to try. In my opinion this was definately the hardest session out of all 4, i found it very hard to keep the Monaro from spinning the wheels. My time was slightly slower than my Commodore run in GT Mode, just like my runs in Arcade Mode. Leaving the settings on default (except gears, TCS and ASM) i could probably get another .5 off this time.

1'30.945 - Monaro CV8 (full tune) / GT Mode

Times updated.

Any chance of you posting your replays, stidriver? I could make videos of them.

And Jerry, I wouldn't mind getting yours to chase.... :sly:

No problem, daan. I won't be able to upload it until after this weekend though. I hope to have a go at the GT-mode during the weekend so I'll upload both of them for you.

Good arcade run 👍 Sphinx. I was tring for the 48's jest could not get one clean. Made it with one three wheel off 4 or 5 times.

GT Mode TCS/ASM on Holden Monaro CV8 (718 hp) 1'44.754 --- Randy

1.33.139 Red Monaro in GT Mode (641hp)
1.30.869 Black Monaro in GT Mode (719hp)
The red car is the first car I had in GT4 and it got turned into a replica of PB's 2003 Bathurst 24hr winner. It has a more realistic 641hp and no ASM or TCS. I did get a mid 32 with this car but didn't save the replay thinking I could go quicker but I never did. I then built the black one to see how I went with 719hp.

Got a 1'51.010 in the CV8 arcade mode, left a good few tenths to go pick up later before I try the other car :)

EDIT: Make that a 1'50.534 :D

I have put up the Commodore SS replay. It is NTSC format.
I ran the Monaro CV8 a in GT mode and the time is 1'28.006. The CV8 has more time in it.

I tried the GT Mode but decided against it after 4 laps, just knew I wasn't going to enjoy it (lazy).

I did however try the arcade again. :)

Go away hsh, you're ruining my game plan ;)

Great time mate 👍

Your T2 is a fast and interesting time 👍 . I thought i was doing well up to that point, oh well :nervous: . Are you using a DFP by any chance?

Here's my splits:

31.548 / 1'10.122

Thanks mate.... ditto 👍

Well, hard to explain how and why you´re doing what you´re doing, right?!
I´ll better provide a replay :)

Nope, no DFP :yuck: ... still old-school stile DS2 driver :) (steering=left-analog.... throttle=x-square-buttons)

In the meantime:

Arcade: Holden Monaro CV8 ´04

Time: 31.540 // 1:09.890 // 1:48.680

I´ll upload the replay in a sec. 👍

Well, I´m off.... cheers.:)

Edit #1:
You´ll have to do with the PAL-xps.replay for now, alright?!
Can´t seem to get the ps2-savebuilder to work
Oh... and good luck, mate :)

Edit #2:
Working now
Here´s the PAL-max.replay.

Nice one 👍

Old school here also, but I use the directional & buttons :)

That's the time I'm after but it's proving to be a pain to get clean.

I'll have another go at it tonight.

I always used to use Analog stick, but I spoke to Dan (you know, holl01) and he reccomended directional buttons.

Well, Ben.... In general I would say that holl01 is right and directional buttons probably are the better option..... 👍
I´ve tried it and what strikes me is that (depending on the combo) the car has a tendency to get loose when using the analog stick for steering.

However, personal taste and/or talent plays a bigger role.
Whatever works for you.

Just my two cents 👍

Thanks for the times and replays guys.

Wasn't being nasty...
I used analog stick since the release of GT2, and I recently changed. Just saying what I do.
Sorry for the off-topic post.

It doesn't seem to matter what controller you use. Its whatever floats your boat really. There are fast guys using DFP, DF, DS2, DS1 etc.

I remember Kart.no.38 won one of my King of the Street challenges in GT3 using a DS1. The DS1 doesn't even have pressure sensitive buttons and no-one could believe that was what he used.

I know. I'm going to have to ban you now. Bye. Nice knowing you.

Haven't managed to get back to this one. :(

That 1:48.349 from hsh is too much for me, great lap mate. 👍 I could see a 48.6 but a 48.3 is really out of my league to be honest.

Pukka lap hsh 👍

Daan,
Don't mean to be a pain mate, but would it be possible to split the GT-Mode and Arcade Mode lap times into seperate tables?
