Gameplay Trailer

Looks good, clear visual improvements over 2k23, not just overall graphics and fidelity, but animations look a lot smoother as well, colour palette is more realistic and lighter, much bigger crowds that look a bit less static than in previous games.

New swing meter looks good, from this shot it appears the swing mechanics will take more in to consideration to bring it closer to real life. 2k23 just had swing path and timing.

Career mode looks a lot more in depth as well in terms of character, looks like there will be a followers system, mimicking social media, as well as interviews and more besides.

First look demo out now! Featuring the back 9 of Scottsdale, Quests, Training and ability to create up to 3 MyPlayers. Progress and stats carryover to the full game when it releases.

Really enjoyed the first look so far. Evo swing feels really nice, I like the mechanics involved and it does kinda feel like the real golf swing in a lot more ways than the previous 2k games and the EA games. Feel like the mastery curve of this will be a lot steeper which is great.

Player customisation is loads better, can do a lot more with the character models which is excellent, as a larger guy I appreciate that I can rep my body type.

Visually I do feel it's a step up, visuals are much cleaner, crowds look a lot better, animations are a lot sleeker and there already appears to be more of them. The golf swing itself in particular looks a lot more natural and pleasing on the eye. Maybe a touch bright but it's not offensive and the course demoed is a typically very green and bright course. The lessons playing as Tiger on a different course is a little more muted so I do think that will be environment specific. On the whole I think it looks excellent.

Menus will take a bit of getting used to but I think that's because I'm so accustomed to 2k23, but everything looks clearer, easier to read and is divided up in a way that makes more sense.

Negatives, noticed a little bit of stuttering occasionally, but as the final few weeks tend to be around optimisation I'm not too worried. I also didn't noticed a swing calibration setting/mode which I think would be useful as the evoswing is a lot more advanced than what we had before and the swing I feel needs an element of calibration to my personal movement.

Overall, very positive. Looking forward to the full game releasing.

Back to back comparison of 2k23 and 2k25. Huge difference visually, much better looking in 2k25 in my opinion, maybe a tad bright but actually it's pretty accurate to the real course. The grandstands are more accurate and appear in every hole, whereas in 2k23 as you can see the 16th grandstands disappear when you reach the 17th. Textures are much nicer and it generally just feels more alive. Animations are much, much better across the board.
