Matt,
You're going to kick yourself:
It's a Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car. The reason you'll kick yourself will become obvious when you read the car's number plate!
Designed and built for Nissan to go Le Mans racing by TWR, it was fast, but a lack of testing meant it couldn't last the 24hrs, and the cars failed to finish. Lack of willpower by Nissan made them cancel the investment, and there wasn't a works entry for the following year (1998 I think).
You can drive road and race versions of the R390 in GT3. I noticed strange behaviour in the arcade mode, where any AI R390 seems to be unable to be beaten by the other AI cars, even when the human player 'helps' the other cars, either by pushing them along or by punting the R390 into the gravel. This was verified by other players. You'll be able to find the thread if you search for R390 in the forums.
Hope that helps. Why did you pick me to mail this to, as a matter of interest?

A streak of bone-idleness. The job, after all, only involves driving in a straight line for a few seconds
Big balls. It's a very very scary straight line
