what do you guys do to your photo's in photoshop? I think there should be a non-photoshop competition... its like, the competition is "WHO IS THE BEST AT PHOTOSHOP"...it should be, "WHO CAN CAPTURE THE BEST PHOTO"... just my 2 cents... anyone agree?

Ehh sometimes it does end up like that. But, most of the time it's the shot. There is the Rally Comp that doesn't allow you to do anything to the photo. I dunno when it's gonna start up again though.

Maybe you just need to get in on it too. There are free image editing programs such as the GIMP.

No type of editing is allow at all in the Drift Photo Competition, not even a border or removing the GT4 watermark. I normally don't edit my photos much for the PMC and 2.0, too used to the DPC (I've been in the top 15 every week since I joined in August).

All this competition allows you to change in photoshop (or any other image software) is brightness & contrast and, imo, that is all you need to make a good pic stand out. With a bit of practice you can learn how to combine the tools available in GT4 PhotoMode - exposure, focus, white balance, etc. - with external adjustments to brightness & contrast to create almost photo-realistic images.

Yea, there are free photo editting programs, its not like people are getting an unfair advantage. I use infranview, which is free and allows you to adjust brightness/contrast. That is all you need.
