Thanks, I'm glad you liked the Evo, the 'monster' look is exactly what I was going for. When you look at it, even though both of our shots are of red cars they're miles apart from each other. Mine is angry and noisy looking whilst yours is peaceful and clean. 👍

Franz, that picture is amazing. Looks so realistic with those reflections on the rear of the car. I'm getting beat badly already, what I expected. I had an extremely hard time coming up with a picture. Oh well, nice job Alpha. 👍

There are a lot of stunning shots in this poll, hardest battle to vote by far was Mog vs. franz. Both shots are very different in mood and both are superbly done.

Sejtur, ALPHA and Fred's shot really impressed me too. Great work form everyone. 👍

I might make a more detailed post on who I voted for later.

Here is my summary:

All of these shots are way better than I can pull off and Im glad I didnt apply for this Nontheless great work to all!

First set:

Kinda easy to pick but it does fit the theme well...great pic

Second

First shot is fantastic but that grainy "magazine" feel isnt what I really like and seem a bit popular right now.
The seacond shot, I normally am bored with the Phototravel being blured and Im really not a fan...it really drew my eye with the purple/blue tint...is got my vote.

Third:

The Zonda steals my heart...and is super clean, GREAT JOB! Has my vote.

The NSX look great but the sideshot is almost too easy...Im guilty of taking this angle too often and because of that Im looking for new perspectives.

Fourth:

Another side shot...great work but it reminds me of alot of my pics...and these pics remind me to try something new..

Rear shot, great depth...it does have that grainy/magazine feel that Im not too fond of, but not too bad...it draws me in...well done and has my vote.

Fifth:

Another sideshot...well done but the pattern is obvious. Im not trying to seem harsh...I would have been the guy to submit this type of shot..I really like them, but the I see the competitors shot..

WOW the vettes look great and far beyond what I can do...It really has a "eye opening" feeling to it!

Seventh:

This one is tough...first shot is really warm and crisp...all things that appeal to me. I really had to think this one out...I couldnt find a solid reason not to pic this besides emotion.

That TT just pulls me in and fits my taste,,,it has my vote...if I could polish my PS skills this is where Id like to work my shots. My vote.

eighth:

First shot is tough but the blur on a phototravel isnt my cup of tea..and the grainy/magazine filter is another factor Im not a big fan of...dont get me wrong...I cant to better but its just not the style Im drawn to.

Second has some tasteful bluring and the subject is crisp and polished,,thats my vote.

Damnit, some router issues at my house have set me back this week, and while I do have an entry, a deadline is a deadline and it's too bad for me. It's probably for the best anyways, I wasn't too happy with mine!

That being said, there are some awesome entries this week. You all amaze me with the fact you still have such inspiration with Photomode. Nothing I shoot truly makes me happy anymore. Job well done, all of you

Well Sej...I´m gonna do that because U were the one that came up with the idea, and I know U really wanted to battle LG.
Hope this isn´t breaking any rule, because this will only affect Sejtur and LGForce, and I gotta say...I don´t like to be a bad guy...and LG missed the poll by a few minutes.


If Geetown_Drifter wanna battle Slip, just say something today, this way I can do a two days poll like I have made with Sejtur VS LG.

nice shots guys, the shot that mosly amazed me was from Geetown drifter. I like it very much!
franz' elise is superb! it astonishes me that he's now on 50/50 with mog.:wtf:
can't wait to see the next rounds poll.

My votes:

- Geetown. Obviously.
- Jacoja. It's sharp over the whole car, the other pic hasn't got that.
- Beerz. Nice blur in the background and the rims (PT?) look good. The tint is nice too, works well with the Zonda.
- TW. The car looks nice and sharp, and there is a nice partial blur integrated.
- ALPHA. That is the best pic of the poll to me. I want that as a poster in my room. Everything looks right. From the colours to the blur. It's also a nice touch that you didn't blur the mountain. The old corvette has real classic lighting and it looks very crisp. The othe corvette looks more usual. They complement eachother because one is white and the other is red. The bumper area is nicely dodged. That's about it I guess. Phenomenal job, ALPHA. 👍

- Freddy. It looks like a classic picture with the warm color and the light units look good. But there's maybe a little bit too much contrast.
- Moglet. This one was the hardest for me. Franz has nice blur everywhere and the car looks very crisp. I may be a bit too picky, but you blurred the ground under the rope but not the rope itself. That doesn't look very realistic. Mog's pic just breathes a ghostly atmosphere, and the Mitsu looks very angry. The cleanup looks very good except for the under bumper. Good job.

My votes went to:

Geetown_Drifter - Not much competition

Loon - similar shot in a few ways, both very good technically, but Loon's reflections and tones somehow appealed to me more.

Jgda9rs - I always vote for every battle, in my battle I vote for my opponent (of course), AND it is a pretty good shot, I think it's only fault is being in such a 'straight' angle. But I love the car's color.

TW - Love the GT4 blur, the car looks pretty clean, great subtle blur on the road and a very smooth and simple shot working great.

ALPHA -
Both very good shots, but ALPHA nailed it perfectly on what I was thinking when I gave this theme idea to NTX, beautiful shot, the tarmac looks downright amazing. Krame's shot sufers from the same 'problem' as Jgda9rs's shot, which is the angle. Plus, those 2 Subbies don't differ that much in looks, which makes it look a bit more like a 'more commom' shot. But extremely good technically, as all of Krame's recent work. 👍

Fred - I think Bram's shot is better technically, car's impeccable (in fact, a remarkable clean-up job, one of the best I've ever seen around here), absolutely nothing wrong with it. BUT (and it's a big but) you don't actually see anything of New York, which was the theme itself. Fred's shot is not as good technically (in terms of perfection), but it suits the theme better, and that car looks great from that angle.

Mog - Both awesome shots, but the EVO is pretty much more my 'style' (as if I had one...), I just love how agressive it looks, reminds me of those high speed chases in the city, with a camera wobbling and shaking just in front of the headlights, as the car nearly collides with it.
franz's shot is brilliant in it's simplicity, but there's also a lot of work in there not visible at first. Blurs are almost flawless, and the car looks shiny as hell and incredibly realistic. But somehow, the theme 'Red' inspires more evil than peace, maybe that's also the reason Mog got my vote on this one.
Hardest one to choose from, without a doubt.
