Before you guys ask, in the theme American Drift "Hey there is a VW there"...I know, its odd, but the HPA version is under American cars...thats why I allowed Swiss to enter that shot. If the game says its American...its American.

Yes, that Pennzoil is mine... I was afraid people wouldn´t like it honestly, the "usual" camera, the colours and even the car, so... I´m glad someone liked 👍

Damn this is a hell of a competition!

I went for the Ruf shot between Mus and Jin (From now on, I assume the shots are in order to the names, so the Raly shot is Jin's, the Ruf shot is Mus', etc. If I'm wrong, SORRY!

Anyway, the Ruf shot is great. Got my vote. No offense Jin, because I spent a good 5 minutes on this section of the comp going "damn those are nice rally cars....damn that's a nice BTR shot....but the snow glare...argh too hard!"

For the next section, I think I may have misvoted, going for the bottom shot, but clicking on the top shot's voting circle. If I did, sorry speedster! I've always liked the trees at that location, and I love the composition. Bram, it's a good shot, and a good car, but the streaks along the bottom draw my attention too much. It was close here too, but that was the decided factor in which i liked more (but possibly not which one my dyslexic hand clicked on. how embarrassing.)

LdS vs Swiss: gonna go for the HPA here (which is actually described as being Canadian in the game ). LdS, ya know I love your photos, but I get no sens of drift here at all. No smoke, no motion blur, nothing. Crisp, clean well done photo, but in a drift sense, I gotta go the R32, purely because it shows that "drift" attitude more.

Atlop vs NTX: Atlop's Sauber, for sure. However, despite being so sure, I can't honestly tell you guys why. both photos are very close, very good shots. but for some reason the Sauber one makes me go "yeah, that **** is ****en eh" while the Nismo shot makes me go "niiice". I wish i could say why, but I just think that way. sorry NTX if it seems like I'm slighting you, because I'm not, it's a well done, well composed, and well coloured shot. it just...nevermind, I'll stop now

I guess Jin got me by that photo. Looks quite fantastic IMO. I wish I could figure out why my shot came out that bad, it looks almost spot on perfect when it was on the laptop and yet after uploading it the brightness and faded colours totally ruins the photo. 👎

Voted for Bram, Swiss and NTX. Bram's shot looks exactly like what he would do in 2.0 minus the clean ups and motion blurs. Swiss's drift shot has a better "drift" feel than LdS, but I can't blame him for not trying. He did admit he wasn't very good at drift shots...... As for Nuno, his shots just looks better than Atlop's.

I'm surprised I'm beating Speedy so easily, he's always been one of my favourite guys at GTP so it's sad we couldn't have that hard battle I've wanted to have for so long now

I used to have the contrast and color problem too, but I tuned my monitor's setting, so the color contrast will be the same as the TV that way it might be easier to get the shots come out the way you wanted.

Well the problem is, the shot from the TV and the laptop looks fine, but when I uploaded it to the image hosting site, somehow it looks totally different than it was before I uploaded it. Its entirely my fault to be so careless.......

Well I'm using Slide as for right now, but I always had been using Imageshack for hosting all of my competition entries. But for some reason this laptop here cannot access Imageshack properly, always giving me long load times and page errors.

I've had this problem while uploading from my macbook to photobucket. Bright on laptop, not on photobucket. No problems going from my desktop LCD monitor to photobucket though.

I liked this round, so here are my reasons:

The rally cars have a great distribution of all elements, spectacular perspective, nice backlit, sweet color... The Tsukuba battle is also interesting, it caught my eye the Best Motoring feeling. The "casual" camera is the typical camera they use, so it gave a realistic touch. Finally I went with Jin because the combination of elements written above.

Phototravel. As always, phototravel is painful. Not much new to do and a lot of limitations, so only a innovative photo can give futher value in most of cases. That's why I felt the Subbie a bit standard, beautiful look but just correct. Bram nicely used the curved lights, sort of graphic design inside the photo itself!

If there is any car that means pure power over, Viper might fit it well. The Golf is not much that, but I tried to don't compromise the vote because the nationality thingy. Both have nice blur and composition, so I finally went with LDS.

The racing powah theme was tough. In this cases I don't want to vote lol. But yeah, I have to, it's better than nothing, it maight be impostant in the final count. I love the Atlop's quality as always, and the over exposure wich enhances a lot of details and realistic look. NTX also made a photo with a lot of "punch"... powerful colors, blur, depth of field. A great combo that usually works fine in competitions.

If any sentence can't be understood, I'll translate it by request lol.

I'm not surprised! Your shot, pretty much as soon as I saw it meant a early end to the tournament for me, your shot is stylish, unique and more eye catching than mine, which to be honest was what I was expecting from you! I'm not happy with my shot, I think I could have done a tonne better than that, although Photo Travel is probably my weak point...I wish out battle was the one I always hae wanted too, but I think that might be another time and hopefully 2.0 as well. Anyway, I think I safely say I'm not going to be catching up! Congrats Bram! 👍
