My votes went as follows:
Garnettrules21 - This was the hardest matchup for me to decide, because both shots are so good. I don't think the front wheel detracts from Slick's shot too much, but I think GR's would, for example, stick out more in a page of thumbnails. The colours are so vivid, there's not a whole heck of a lot of pixelization (in either shot, really), and the composition's good (again, in both). It really was a hard decision.
fd2diablo908 - Sure, GEETOWN's looks nice as a thumb, with the moody lighting, but look at it full size and you'll be attacked by pixels. Diablo's is much smoother. Yes, it's smaller, but I'd rather a medium-sized, well-looking image than a larger, pixelated one.
NTX1982 - Same comments, really. CCX' image could've benefitted from some careful manipulation to better represent those reflections. I've been seeing that car a whole heck of a lot lately from him, too, but there's nothing wrong with that

.
VR6GTI72 - Marouan's is a brave angle, because those types of shots can look boring sometimes. I personally like his, but VR6's more "traditional" approach to a drift shot (the angle, really) works well with the unsusual car choice, and the colours are much better. Again, size/pixel issue.
Atlop - Well, that type of shot would kick ass in a 2.0 contest, and Atlop has shown before what an all-white-except-the-car shot can do by winning a PMC with a Skyline shot. George put up a good shot, but I'm pretty sure nothing better suits the theme than Atlop's 👍
GTChamp2003 - No trademark tint? Is this really GTC?! I love that turn, and the fact you can get good shots either zoomed in or out. I won my first PMC at that same spot in an Escort, just zoomed in a lot more. Very clean, realistic image. Sej's is a quality shot as always, but dark without being vibrant and as eye-catching as his usual shots. Though, it would look great in a set with other shots from that shoot.
Awesome first round, guys. I admire how many quality shots you can get with the more limited rules. No amount of Photoshopping can save a crap image, and this proves that some people are able to take quality shots straight from the game 👍
