I very nearly went for an S2000 on an 'empty' circuit myself, probably due to the name! Voted for NTX (obviously) and mag. The extreme angle really makes the BMW stand out and the image is very clean and precise. 👍

Went for the Alfa and the BMW 👍 The S2000 shot seems kinda overused by now... I'm tired of seeing the cars at the same angle every time. Mag went all-in with that picture, with such a extreme angle, he deserved the vote

The angle of the BMW is a bit too extreme, however, it'd work much better if the picture wasn't so dark. I can't even tell if the car is white or gray. it is, however, clean to the point of extremity. which I give it props for, and which is also the reason i'm giving mag my vote over Franz. because I've not seen a shot that clean in a PMC comp for ages. Good on yeh.

Franz and Magburner shots are quite good too, very hard to cast a vote. The angle of Magburner shot was a bit extreme for me, so I went to Franz shot in the end. But still, very hard to decide, since both have great quality:tup:

There's a reason it appears a lot, because it's such a nice car! It really suits the minimal background look, I remember my first ever update with an S2000 in my gallery was of a similar style! 👍

Yes, its a nice "rendered" car, thats why I choose it. The other option was a MG TF in George Paris, but this one has more colour and the GT4 blur came out very well.
And when I saw your entry Mog, I thought, its gonna be a nice "coloured" battle, and the cars where really nice on the camera. Thumbs up once more to your entry Mog.

with my votes, i just went for the coolest cars, NTX black S2k and the Z4. the alfa and Volvo didn't really appeal to me

As far as I can tell they were saying that the S2000 appears at that angle a lot, for whatever reason. I must admit, a side-on shot of any car with a motion blur isn't, in itself, entirely creative. The fact that it's not dead center and is tilted adds a new twist however.

I still prefer the Alfa as it looks more interesting to me.

As far as the other match, it seems the BMW has a very intriguing angle. I personally think that the Volvo is at an even more interesting angle, but in a different way. The way the shot is laid out makes it hard to tell which way is up, which I think is interesting. The BMW makes it obvious with the lines in the background, but it's not a bad thing either. I just prefer the look of the Volvo.

Whoa whoa whoa here guys. I never meant to start a ****storm. All i meant was that It feels like I've seen that car, in that angle, a whole bunch. I LIKE NTX's style of high contrast and such. I've tried to emulate it, and I can't. But here, I felt that moglet was more creative. it's the same reason Swiss didn't get my vote in this comp with his Ford GT. the angle felt overdone to me. I judged the individual photo, and I thought that, whilst it was good, Mog's had a little more creativity to it.

It's no different than the 2.0 revelations around here. alot of people are tired of seeing "fast car w/ road blur" shots. well, I felt that that S2K shot has been overdone. it's solid, but so is Moglet's. moglets just outdoes it.

Hoep that clears everything up. I don't see why there was a problem in the first place. I don't think I should have to justify my votes (even though I usually explain who I voted for and why anyway) Because the person i didn't vote for was offended.
