Other than rims what did you do?

It started off as a normal Holden Commodore SV8.
I did the following:
rims, lowered, front bumper lengthened, front bumper mesh grill, front bumper vents, main grill, 2 door convert, shaved, chop top, side skirts, tint, hood grills, whole car lengthened, flattened, side mirrors, and other structural stuff.

monaro in some cases was the same thing as the commodore ;)

PS; turbo - could u thumb the 'old' images; and just have the update large?

its supposed to be a UTE; i didnt put the inner wheel-wells; a detail i simply forgot about; but i drew up a sketch; and used photoshop to render:

Original:

Extra Crispy:

its not supposed to be anything huge; i did a basic carbon lip-kit; wheels [i made it rwd, while i was at it]; changed the fender; changed the rear window; made it a coupe; extended the front bumper; made the wheel-wells bigger; dropped the body.

let me know what you think. This took about 2 hours

Sure.

Im pretty sure the Monaro was based off the VX Commodore

Well technically it was based on the VT commodore, that is when they first developed it. It was released in conjunction with the VX (which was just a facelift of the VT) release though. The VX taillights and Monaro Taillights can be interchanged (quite a common swap for VX Commodores). When they facelifted the VX to the VY shape (like your picture) the Monaro kept the older sheetmetal, but gained the newer interior and became the MKIII Monaro.

Wow Suzq, you draw cars like I do then render it :).. I didnt know that..

Though you are going to finish that up? it looks a bit incomplete..

also, the side window is .. its.. lets just say it doesn't seem to appeal with my eyes for some reason...
