Glanza-V: I have a tip for you. Instead of using a picture of a carbon fiber, why not make your own pattern and save it? Then just use the fill function and use your pattern, it will make things easier. The vynil looks kinda awkward at that angle, maybe you need to warp the vynil in place first before applying the finishing touches. Other than that, it looks quite good. Keep it up mate! 👍

legendary724: Don't worry, we are not the only one..... :guilty:

Thats nice to know:sly:

Turbo, i haven't seen you in a while.

I haven't been chopping much lately that's why. And what are you doing on GTP at 6:30AM lol.

Im on here at all times, from 3am to whenever. I have insomnia so im on here allot during the late/early hours. And then i check it during the day because thats when most normal people respond to posts and such.

Well, err...:indiff:

I wake up at 6 and leave at 10 past 7 in the morning to head off to school.
I go to a school called "Aviation High" which requires me to travel by bus and train. I get to the destination(Toombul) at 8:20 and muck around till school starts:sly: So i am on the computer from 6 till 7:10 and then 4:40ish to bedtime.:)👍

I don't even have an interest in GTA anymore
It's a good game, but it doesn't live up to the major hype it got:grumpy:. I was expecting much more from reading all the reviews and info on it. Hopefully this one is just a "test" game with the new engine. Hopefully the next one will include more things since most of the time when games have a new engine they aren't at they're full potential on the first go.

Yes, same. Also, gta iv is just a starting point for next gen. They make a game which obviously isnt the best they can make and then they build around what they have got. The next game will be just like san andreas was to vice city. An improvement with many new features. :)👍

Well I'm a bit rusty right now, but hey, I'm not gonna slack off and do nothing.... :P Took 2 hours to do this thing...... :D

As always, click for the full view. :)

i know exactly how to replicate it,

but suggestions for improvement, put a darker shadow around the tires since the tires are closer to the ground so less light is there, hence it should be darker. Your rear rim should be flipped horizontally because it appears to hold an incorrect perspective as i can clearly see you copied it from the front rim.

Also, for the top, instead of just cutting it off like that, maybe you can add a thin slavver of metal to make it look like a corner of the frame.

edit: caught another boo-boo. rear wheel arch, the shutlines dont meet up and the surrounding colour tones dont match the wheel arch's.

Have a look: I did it fast so the shadow work is crappy. But a way to make the acar look a bit more realistic after cutting parts off is to give ait a small blurring at the edges (Sfumato, its a technique used in the High Renaissance to give the illusion of great depth, i.e. Mona Lisa)

Holy 🤬

The only major thing is probably that there is no metal where you have cut it into a ute. It just disappears straight after the window :(

Well you certainly did better than what I would ever do, so gotta give credit to you man! 👍 As for the tire, yeah, I know I copied it from the back first, then paste it at the front. Also, this is the first time I actually did a ute chop, which I have no idea on how to do. :dunce: The rear wheel arches just looks bad, period! I could at least make it CF or a different color to make it look different..... Yeah, and thanks for so,e of the tips, I'll keep it in mind if I'm gonna do another chop later on. :)

Actually that is not exactly complete. I did have a few other ideas in my mind (like changing the color, do those SUV bars and put some vynils) but yeah, either I post that or give up altogether (which is heartbreaking really) so like yeah, not my cup of tea. :ill: I think I should just stick to body kit chops instead of something crazy like this..... :indiff:

It's not that hard, chopping isn't too complex at all.

I cut off the back of a Rondo and turned it into a sedan, remember that chop comp?

It was my first time chopping a car.

Keep trying, it's not that bad.. if you want improvements try doing differnet types of tutorials and soon you can be able to apply those concepts and method to doing whatever YOU wanted to do.

I'm actually not as impressed as i thought i should be...

maybe for you that is god-like work...i don't know, i don't see what to drool over about...

i looked at some random ones, most were not very satisfying, someone mind linking me to his better works that you guys drooled all over?

Some are just straight swaps of certain design cues onto other cars. Take his BMW 05i as an example.
