So I know the PI system was re-worked, and I am having a time trying to adjust from FM3 to 4.

In FM3 my favorite type of online race was the C Class circuit races. What I have noticed is most of my favorite C Class cars are now either B or A.

So is the old C Class now more like B? OR are some cars just more fowerful now? Trying to get it...

What are your thought?

The car's PI is now more affected by having high downforce and mechanical grip, which was previously not factored into the calculation of the PI value in FM3. The classes have been revisited a bit in general, but, as you can see, some cars are still quite close to their FM3 values.

The WRX STi is the perfect example. Previously, these cars were somewhere in the middle of C-Class. Now, that the AWD advantage is taken into account, they're at the top of B-Class...

Don't mind me saying this, but it seems like your previous favourites were a bit on the overpowered side in FM3 ;)

VW Golf Mk6, Mustang 05, Javelin, Skyling R 33, Porche 914.

I dont think any of those were "overpowered" where they?

If they were bumped up in terms of the PI that much, they'd be pretty much useless and completley underpowered now, if they weren't decent back in FM3, no?

It of course depends on how much the new physics are affecting the performance, of course.

they also changed the "test course" they use to determine the PI. made it longer and gave it a better variety of corners etc. It was in the under the hood series on their website. as a result, most cars have a different PI now. My real life car went from about 325 up to 399!
