Picked up my LCE and the Season Pass today... help?

This is a simple question; Tell me I did the smart thing? The kid at Gamestop convinced me that the DLC packs are 30% off if I get them this way.

I also read that Turn 10 will give me credit for the AMC pack since it comes with the LCE.

I don't know though.... I'm feeling "kinda took". :nervous:
 
Supposedly, Turn 10 is giving people that bought LCE, 250,000 in game credits or something like that.

You still get 30% off of DLC for the year, something LCE people will NOT get.
 
The season pass is like the Rockstar pass for LA Noire. You could buy each pack individually but it would ultimately cost you like $20 whereas the Season pass is like $15. So you drop the $15 now and save yourself money in the long run. Plus you get the American Muscle Car pack free. Unless you got the LCE then it was included anyway.
 
I like the idea of the Season Pass. However, I don't want to buy it sight unseen. If I don't like any of the cars coming, then it would be a waste for me.

I am going to play this one a little by ear.
 
Ahh, so I was completely misinformed about the season pass. I thought it was $30 up front and then all DLC was free.
My ignorance has saved me $30. No thanks.

No, the DLC is included with your season pass. So for $30, you get ALL the DLC. Those that don't buy the season pass, will end up paying MORE than $30 for all the DLC content throughout the year. They will be paying about 30% more than you by the time all is said and done.
