Trust me, I didn't want one. But out of my choices, it was the best phone I could get. I wanted the Samsung A900m, but it was unavailable. Then I tried to get the LG Fusic, and there was no luck to be found there. So I was left with the Katana (with no MP3 player or web support) or the RAZR...

Care to decide which phone was better?

Yeh sure, I'll choose... neither! Why didn't you just get a Motorola V360? They're identical to the RAZR as far as hardware and software compatability goes, they're cheaper, and you can add a 256mb Mini SD stick for all your mp3s and pics.

I don't know if I'd call them sexier, but hey, every man has a different taste...

...Problem is, Sprint doesn't offer the V360 as an option. I believe that is designed to be a GSM phone, not a PCS/iDen model. My choices were pretty much limited to the Motorola RAZR V3, LG Fusic LX550, or the Samsung A900m. They were out of the non-Motorola models, as my origional intent was to get the Samsung with the 500 MB on-board memory...

I nearly ordered the Motorola Q for $100, but they are backlogged at every Sprint store in town, and I probably wouldn't have been able to get one for three or more weeks. I was sick of NEXTEL, and I wanted to change, so it was the RAZR or nothing pretty much... I'm happy with it. I was bored today so I watched TV on it for a while. Its a good time-waster...

...Funny enough, he looks just like a kid I used to go to school with. Although he wasn't a goth, but a pretty big Star Wars nerd. Still, he was fun to talk to, as I do consider myself to be a fairly big Star Wars fan...

(I mean, I've got my Obi Wan, Darth Vader, and General Grevious proudly displayed in my room...)

Mon dieu, that sounds like my father . Nothing against you; I just hate him (and it's not that typical teen angst BS, I actually have decent reasons.) But, anyway, yeah, guess I can put up another of myself if no one objects. The black hair was for Halloween (Good Pary ) and this is me normally.
