Kim Jong Il doesnt have a mustache and soul patch... I think if you erase that from your pic you'll look even more like him :D

It would be good if you were significantly shorter than your friend. That way, you'd be the asian Pinky & The Brain.

I'm guessing I would be the Brain in that case... YAY :dunce:

Pinky: "Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"
The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world."

Good times...

Just a little too creeped out to go shirtless...., but here's a "peck" shot to go with DA's back shot. :D

For what it's worth, I'm down almost 20 lbs. from a few months ago. Cutting calories like crazy, but I'm not breathing as hard walking around. ;)

Yeah, you do look smaller alright. Tsk, tsk...

:scared:

Self image is a strange thing.... In my estimation, I'm still tiny. I guess if you get an image in your head of what you want to look like, and that image drives you to get there, your self image will always be skewed, in my case, minimized (according to your reaction).

When I was in high-school, I thought I was fat...I mean, call me dough boy. A few months ago, and friend showed me some pics he took "back in the day" and much to my surprise, I was a stick. That was my first taste of how wrong my self image was to reality.

Pako, it's okay to not be as big as Dennis Wolf. It's okay.

 An image of me in a fetal position grasping onto a pillow with you patting me on the back comes to mind when I read that.

I hear ya, but it's that kind of size that drives me.... Is that a realistic goal for me? No, not at my age...I got into this to late, but it hurts so good trying.

Happens to the best of us. I bet if you stood in a circle with all your buddies to compare sizes you'd find out that you're not so small after all. Worked for......never mind.

Can guys like that even use those muscles? Why don't I ever see them in the strong man competitions?

I assume this is where you realized it had the opposite effect for you?

Keef, most strongman guys are super strong but also fat. Pro bodybuilders spend half of their time losing the fat, and most of them are not nearly as strong.

But when strongmen and powerlifters do a cut they're freaking ripped. Look up Dave Tate

Spoons go with pots, sticks go with drums. You have to pick one, you can't mix.

Water and oil, baby.

Never mind my ramblings, she's a cutie, Solid! :)

Yeah, I got to get her some sticks. I've got a few extra pairs around here some place, but I have to ask the boys. For now, the wooden spoon will have to do.

Oh, she's adorable with the personality to match. She gets it from her mother, only. Her father is my blood brother and he's a total A-hole.

I've got a pic of her sitting on her little pink potty, but I'd figured after Spock's pic, I'd spare you guys the trauma. :D

You haven’t met me, have you? :P I’m about 135 lbs (at 5'9") – 15 of those are just from running cross country (my calves are fairly enormous), and 5 of those are fat I gained from being on prednisone earlier this year. You could probably stick me in a microwave and have me for breakfast. Incidentally, I’m trying to drop that 5 lbs – I’ve been running about 4 miles a day, but the problem is I eat like 10 million calories a day.

Well, that shows the variation in the Staff. Pako, Sage and I are all about the same height, I'm 60lbs heavier than Sage, and 30lbs lighter than Pako. Wide enough range?

Pako, you're huge. No doubt about that. Hopefully in two years, I'll be up in that range. I've got a solid two week stint of dieting coming up, and I'll post another shot at that point.

Sage, we're never hunting bear together.

I would think being on a steroid, you would be bulking up a bit more. ;) For what it's worth, I do like a little sage on my steak. Adds a nice flavor for the BBQ. I would agree with DA, I'm never hunting bear with either of you two.

I think you will see your greatest gains in the first two years. I seem to have plateaued a bit lately with my gains being smaller and smaller. Am I reaching critical mass? :D I know there are physical and genetic limitations, but I guess I had an unrealistic goal that if keep on training, I will continue to gain.....but this is not the case (of course). This is due in part why I need to seriously need to consider diet and a big factor I have been neglecting.

I guess a little perspective on my part is in order. Here's a obscure time line spanning 10 years with the last 2-3 years of serious lifting.
