Why under a table? Plus, nice that you've got a watch on your right arm!
- It's uncommon, to see people who've got that. (I've got my watch on the right arm too).
I wear my watch on my right wrist because I'm left handed. It just feels weird on my left.

Who's the girl with three legs?

Sure. I think I've heard someone say, that those who're wearing a watch on their right wrist, are smarter, than those who've got their watch on their left wrist. I don't know if it's true.

So this rule only applies to prostitutes, then?

It obviously isn't, considering I wear my watch on my left wrist :sly:

The reality is the watch wrist relates to the person's preferred hand. Why? Because often when one moves the hand that the watch is behind, they will notice it, and the more active hand will notice it more. Thus, watch goes go to the off hand wrist.

I wear quite a heavy watch and barely notice it on my left, however as soon as I put it on my right.. damn.. I cant even use my arm properly

Some can't wear a watch on their right wrist, others can't wear it on their left wrist. - We're all different.

\As said, it's only something I've heard. - I don't know if it's true.

Like I said, it obviously isn't. And it is pretty crappy attempt at a back handed insult as well - playing dumb doesn't exactly change that either.

To be honest, I'm not playing dumb. I guess this is like saying right handers, are better than left handers to a given thing - which may or may not be true, depending on which thing or persons, we're talking about. Anyway, I'm not trying to make an argument, but if this should become one, let's continue off this thread, please. - Moving on...

I don't know but she was very sympathetic of my situation.

Well that's obviously complete bollocks... I wear mine on my right because it's comfier, my left wrist is in between 2 holes (fnarrrr) and I can see it better out of the corner of my eye because my left eye is crap.

I like to think it's true :sly:
I'm right handed though, and I wear it on my right wrist. I think your meant to wear it on your weaker arm because you use that arm less, so the watch doesn't take such a pounding in day to day life. So naturally mine is very scratched and looks like I've just thrown it off a cliff.

I'm right handed and wear mine on my left. I used to slip my heavy metal watch onto my knuckles when I was walking through town on my own at night, just to bump up the weaker side.

My passport photo, I look like a crazy. I wonder if thats the reason why airport security always gives me an extra thorough body check right after taking a look at my passport. :scared:

Is this now the "which arm do you wear a watch on?" thread?
I don't wear a watch on either arm,I'm left handed and they bothered me way back when I was in High School i wore one on my right hand. In grade school I don't know how many times I threw my watch off my arm throwing rocks and stuff. Also got tired of people asking what time is it? I carried a pocket watch, yes I used that little pocket that was made for it. Now I don't carry a watch at all (and no I don't use a cell phone either) .

Hah. I once made a similar funny face in a band picture and it was used for the front cover of my bass player's student newsletter. I didn't even know she worked on it. It ended up as our MySpace photo too.

Edit: for a second, I thought that newsletter was titled "hungpapa".

Please tell me that you're the one that publishes that newsletter and put yourself on the cover.

'Children Collide Photos' - that's a feature I must read! Also, 'Hungappa' sounds like a guy-on-guy mag... ;)

Do not work in the design or publishing office and nor do I know anyone who works in there too closely lol.

There is always an article with all the snaps from uni nights - they are one of the most popular bits for a lot of people.

And Hungappa means to 'spread the word' in the local traditional Aboriginal tribe's native dialect.

OK, fair enough. Although 'Children Collide Photos' is still leaving me with the mental picture of somekind of Newtons Cradle made from kids on swings...
