Don't feel too bad @Danny, I thought the exact same you did and thought that it had been edited out of the hand from the window.

What's actually in my hand is the remote shutter release. I am using cactus transceivers and while they work with radio rather than infrared when controlling the flashes, I am thinking perhaps they use infrared for the shutter release role as they didn't like working so well when one of them was in the car - hence the me pointing at the camera thing. :/
