I'd kill to have the endurance to run miles on end. I guess it's just not in my genes. :P
Since that was a meet it was only 3.1 miles. The trick to distance running is dedication you have to run everyday that includes outside of season, and on weekends. I'm living proof of that. Honestly I'm nothing special; I'm mediocre really. I'm not D1 material but I have some D2 scholarship offers. Alright that's enough about my life.

Keep it up buddy, and you won't be what you call "mediocre" much longer!
 
This probably belongs in the running thread but here's a taste of what I do. These are my workouts for next month. They'll get harder in Feburary and months after. This is on our own (we run as a small group though) too our coach officially can't start conditioning until Feburary and the season won't begin until march. Note: the off days we do a 4 mile run or we swim (only one of my teammates does this) or bike on our own
