Well I went there today making well sure that I took the camera and got some pics. Warning:Slow modem hell!!! Hope you enjoy:
I'm only going to post the best pictures...
BTW I don't know how to put more than one picture in a post. I've tried it and it just won't let me... So I'm going to have to do a new post for each pic. If someone can tell me otherwise how to do it I'll do it.

This nearly made me cry. This next pic shows the start of a pretty large pile up the nearly cost several million dollars/pounds worth of damage. Luckily ownly a Ferrari 330 P4 (worth about $1 million) a McLaren M1A (worth enough) and one and two other cars were wrecked. Although It was utter carnage.

Two Ferrari 250 LM's and a Ford GT40 decide to cut the chicane to avoid the chaos...

I've got ample more pictures if anyone is interested. If so just say here and I'll post them.
I've got pics of:
McLaren Can-Am cars,
Ford GT40's racing,
Can-Am cars,
Jaguar E-types,
AC Cobras,
Ferrari's,
Post WW2 cars,
Muscle cars incl: Stingrays, Falcons, Galaxies, Corvette's etc.
Lotus's,
Mini's,
Alfa Romeo's,
Bikes and more.

Only way to post more than one pic a post is to upload them to a website and use then img tags...

Nice to see they don't hold off, even in 7-figure cars... :D

What like this?

That was just a tester to see if it worked. I've got to go now anywayz. So I'll post all the others up soon.
Thanks Dodge...
BTW the picture is of a V12 from a car that raced back in the 30's at a track callled Brooklyns for those who don't know. I think it was Britains first race track and it was a banked track. The engine was absolutly huge along with the car it was in. In fact the enigne has a cubic capacity of 20 litres. . They said as it went down the straights, instead of a constant engine note, at every fifty metres you just heard a single bang of one of the cylinders. . I don't beleive that for a start but these engines were huge.

Famine: Yeah it is good to see them get used again. And there's no hanging around they really properly go for it.

Mr Pushrod: I know. We took a video camera last year but lost the recording of all the stuff I recorded. If I had thought to take one this year I would of posted small mpegs up.:(

The name of the circuit is Brooklands. Parts of it remain, but it has been disused for some time now.

I think the engine note story is most likely to be a fairy story. These things were V12s doing probably 3,000rpm max, but that's still 300 ignitions per second.

Sods I've been really busy recently and havan't had the time to get the pics sorted.
You lot were right about the V12. It was massive. And also Giles your right. Parts of Brooklyns are still there today I think. I always call it Brooklands, because there's a kart track round near me called Brooklands and I always think the kart track is named after Brooklyns and blah blah blah, you gte the general idea.
Well I'm going to try and sort the pics for next time I come on so....
BTW miniMADness for some random reason I couldn't find any pics of the mini's I took. I'll try and look a bit harder but I'm not sure if I downloaded them. And steet car I'll sort the muscle car pics out for you.:)

i saw a thing about goodwood on tv. i think that v12 was 23 litres, but it's still crazy. what i loved was the mercedes streamliner, very very beautiful car. sounded pretty good too! :D (does anyone have some pics of it?)

Yeah I missed the showing of it today...was at work . Though I asked my ma to record it (even though I went) but some how she didn't hit th record button on the video machine :odd: . Well anywayz Nightmage82 the car you were talking about I think was racing on the Saturday, and I was there only for the Sunday so no pics I'm affraid, unless I missed it but o well sods....

Another pic. This time it's the three 1966 GT40's which came first second and thrid at Le Mans. They were only on display + me and my dad don't actually think they're real. When up close and personal there was just something about them which made them look fake.

fair enough, and bad luck about the vid! :(

These are some big files. I haven't bothered converting them to Jpegs so they're just tiffs still.
This is the start of the touring car race. Two Galaxies and a Falcon lead the way with a Cortina and Jaguar Mk.2 driven by Derek Bell in the back ground.

Galaxie and Cortina nose to tale out of the chicane.

Pic of one of the first ever Marcos's. Called a mini Marcos. It was in a GT race against other cars like Porsche 904's and Alf Romeo TZ2's. It completly whopped ass as well and worked it's way up the pack from low down to fourth and in the finishing stages of the race was the quickest car on the track.

A smoking McLaren M1A (not to sure on the model number :odd:  )

All for now, enjoy...
