I didn't sign in earlier because my playtime is very limited and only late in the night (hardly compatible with "UK evenings"), but now I see that many late night players like myself already applied, so I guess it'll be easy to arrange for races within groups with similar playtimes.

Don't forget its open to all you do not need to be in a GTP division, just means you will do a time trial before, so we can put you in a group.

Thought this might have been dead and buried, glad to see some more names added, any more takers.
At the start of the event i plan to give quite a bit of time for people to race as it's christmas/new year soon besides the ongoing SixAxiz and IFTC events, i do not want people to be rushed or limited on track time:tup:

No dates/times yet, still would like more entries if possible. Also new to running an event but have come to realize, you give a closing date, then people come along after seeing if they can still join in the event. When i feel there are enough entries i will shut it down to any newcomers, so it's a case of get your name in as soon as possible

Wanna_B: Regarding the time trial qualifier for non Division members. What kind of time would it take to be placed into the Division 1 group? I don't want to waste too much effort on this time trial if I don't have to lol. BTW, It's depressing how much faster the wheel guys are on this combo haha! Thanks

Three words: do..... your.... best.

That's what was told to us guys when we all ran the official qualifier, so just do it also and you'll be placed in a group where you'll have good competition and close racing.

If you "Overdo" (i.e. wait for a lucky lap you won't be able to repeat in the next 200 tries), you'll probably be smoked in the competitions you enter.

If you do sandbagging (i.e. submit a lousy time just to get easy competition) you're ruining the pleasure of racing for the other members in your group.

So, do your best (I'd say a couple of hours will give you a good idea of what you can consistently do as a laptime) , submit, and have no worries about bragging divisional rights. All players are equally respected, no matter the division, and to provide close racing to all (not a ranking) is the only purpose of the divisions.
