Hey guys, sorry to see such a poor turn out. I would like to return but, the damage setting scares me away. Very seldom do I finish any race without one or more mishaps messing up my night, especially in that Killer Corvette..... Ain't got time fo dat. Ya, I suck, so what.
Get Consistant Bro
In my very limited and ignorable opinion, you should be finding guys who can compete with the same two or three constant winners. Pits could be presented as an elite league to draw the best Pcars racers out there, not just from Snail. Throw some invites to the best racers from other leagues and get them involved. This won't help me to join again, but if the league grows the way it could, I'll be proud to have been here at the start.
I love the broadcasts, the guys have gotten so much better, but the actual racing is boring to watch with only a few battles mixed in with a lot of guys just turning laps by themselves.
I really enjoyed watchin Jax compete with the big boys, way to go buddy.
Thanks for the props Mike, only way I'm gonna get any better is to continue trying,I may be slow but I still show up to race:cheers:

Mustang vs Audi would be great and maybe would bring some sauce to a league that looks like it needs some sauce.
Idk, just my opinion.

Valid points Mike. This has become an elite series with some incredible talent. And I'm sorry, but "Get good bro" isn't really a way to roll out the welcome mat to those that can't invest the time to compete on the highest level. This series is going to continue to succeed, I'm sure of it. But there's going to be some growing pains. I've suggested it to a couple open lobby guys that are alien-ish, but I haven't seen them sign up. I wish all the best to you guys.

Well, the problem is they would be revisiting a problem they'e already encountered in which two same "class" cars were not quite equal. That was kind of a mess of a season, but growing pains and figuring out the nuances of the game. Multiple models is however a solid format, but I wonder if fair competition would lead to choosing just a couple classes every month (ie. GT3, GT4, LMP1, LMP2). Nevertheless, I doubt they'll want to go backwards. The on-track action this past season was fantastic.

Thanks for spreading the word! It is unfortunate that the general perception is that this series is already an "elite series" because there is plenty of room for drivers outside of that pool. In all reality, there are only 4-5 "elite" drivers here. It is very difficult to do anything about this misconception. If these are the type of guys that show up every week, I suppose the stigma must come with it.

On a lighter note, I am officially on VACATION! Gotta take our dog to the "kennel" (the place is more like a dog camp, so spoiled...), then pack up the car and we're off. This will be my first time to Disney and the excitement has really started to hit the kids in the past couple days. :) Planning to make a pit-stop at GoPro Motorplex in Charlotte for some karting action and probably Atlanta Motorsports Park on the way home next week. Booyah!

I usually don't do the All Star for two reasons. One, I need a week off to just decompress and relax. Two, it's usually a weirdly long or bizarre track. Last time it was Nord full I think. Just can't get excited about those kinds of venues. But mainly I like the week off :)

There's a week off next week anyway tho :boggled:

I never bothered to sign up. Truth be told, i didn't even know that was a thing until recently.
Oh crap, yea there was 2 "News" pieces done on the main GTP site about 3 weeks ago the UK sign up and the US sign up. I just happened to catch the end of the US one before it closed the next day.

Last I heard US sign-up is still open and more people will be getting the beta as it moves forward.

I agree with your statement earlier about "elite" league status. It's clear from the standings and turn outs week to week that this league needs drivers , any drivers of all ranks. Mid pack drivers is what we need to fill the gaps. People have this "idea" of what the league is and are missing out on quite a bit of fun Wednesday night's.

F1 qualifying was great fun. Looks like a great start to the season as the new cars appear to be closing the gap on Mercedes.

Loving the new look Sauber, HAAS, McLaren and Force India cars. Very nice color upgrades.

Can't wait for tomorrow's race.

@irmopars you gonna be on GTS at all tonight?
Yes I will be. I was on last night but during the 2nd course there seemed to be some network issues (not sure if my side or server side) and I wasn't able to connect.

The bad part for you & me is staying up so late to run the 2nd & 3rd tracks being in Illinois (yep, I got the package over the weekend but was out of town).

Yea 10-11-12. I prolly won't do many of the 12s lol

What are you guys talking about? Is the beta a collection of organized test sessions?

You're can run offline Single races with AI or Time Trails any time you want.

Online: you can qualify any time (and see others times) and at specific times they have the races online with others. That time is 10pm, 11 & 12.
You get in 3 races per track then it switches to the next track, and locks out the previous one.
Track 1, Brands Hatch, race 3 times
Track 2, Oval, race 3 times
Track 3, The Green Hell (Nurb'Ring) 3 times

You can only race track 1 from 10-11 then it's locked, and the Oval opens up.

The game matches you with similar skilled racers.
