Hey guys, got my toenails done early, put the angle grinder away, cleaned up all the blood and fungus flakes. We are good to go tonight.
Just kidding, I have no feet problems, I can still bend over enough to bite them.
I am good to go tho. See you tonight.

Wow, votes sure are close, and great turnout for voting too! Both cars are really good but glad we get to race a challenging and great sounding car. Looking forward to the coming season.

Hope you all had fun last night.

The division placements have been update, please see page one of this thread. Everyone is free to start making their teams and selecting liveries for this season. Remember that your team division placement needs to add up to "+4".

Div 1 + Div 3=4
Div 2 + Div 2=4
Div 2 + Div 3=5
and so on.

If you have any questions regarding teams please send Zii1993 or myself a message.

Hey guys, I would like to update the active drivers list, please make your intentions known for this season when you have a moment.

Thank you!

Season 2 is in the books! With @HazardLvL4 cementing his victory for the driver championship and Yerphuct Racing snatching the team championship. The driver championship's top three finishers were @HazardLvL4 (215pts.), @Zii1993 (169pts.), and @Alex ONeill (141pts.). Of the 5 teams battling this season the top 3 pretty much walked away in the points with Yerphuct Racing (290pts.), Team FD&H (262pts.), and Steve Squared Racing (253pts.). Overall, I want to not just congratulate the winners, but everyone in the league for putting on some of the best racing yet!

The final round took place at Zhuhai International located in the Guangdong Province of China. Zhuhai was constructed in 1996 for Formula 1. Although it was not used for Formula 1 it is still a hotbed of activity for local motorsports. The circuit consists of 14 corners and a total distance of 2.67 miles (4.3 kilometers).

Race 1 saw @HazardLvL4 starting on pole with @Chad151515 in second place, mere tenths separating their qualifying times. Going into turn 1 there was some chaos mid-pack allowing @HazardLvL4, @Chad151515, and @SGETI to break away. For a majority of the first stint of the race it was musical chairs between the leaders. However after pit stops it was settled with @HazardLvL4 holding the lead and taking home the checkered flag.

Race 2 saw even more great racing then what was displayed in race 1, especially for one driver in particular, @Zii1993. Over time @SGETI, @Chad151515, and @HazardLvL4 were able to work their way through the pack rounding out the top 4, in the later laps of stint 1. However, pit stops shook things up again, allowing @HazardLvL4 to jump from 3rd into second and begin chasing down @Zii1993. For the remaining of the race @Zii1993 was able to hold the lead even with the gap shrinking down to below half a second.

With the season wrapped up and in the history books, its time for drivers to forget about the past and begin to focus on what the new season will bring.

Driver Spotlight: @SGETI

1. Going into the final round of the season, with 4th through 8th all within 5 points of each other, how did this play into your mindset and strategy for the race?

I have to say the HFAF, OLH racing, Garton, WMD portal, UD Media, CRCP – Carbon Racing Car Parts sponsored Ginetta was such a joy to drive. Having missed a race due to a recent outbreak of my STD, I knew the HFAF, OLH racing, Garton, WMD portal, UD Media, CRCP – Carbon Racing Car Parts sponsored Ginetta would not be in the hunt for the overall season podium. Yet we approached the race with a positive and some what relaxed mindset . Our strategy was to win. this is our strategy for every race. But soon, within 5 laps, we realized winning was not going to happen so we started happy hour a little early.

2. The final round's forecast was to have some rain, how did this play into your setup of the car? Did you setup for dry or wet weather pace, knowing you would be better one stint over the other?

The forecast did play into the set up of the HFAF, OLH racing, Garton, WMD portal, UD Media, CRCP – Carbon Racing Car Parts sponsored Ginetta . We had four separate pit strategies , with two different tire pressure settings for each pit stop set up. Our team has found you need to lower the tire pressure when racing in the rain, since the track is cooler you need to build up heat to get the tires to stick. The HFAF, OLH racing, Garton, WMD portal, UD Media, CRCP – Carbon Racing Car Parts sponsored Ginetta used the exact same setup for wet or dry. The tuner who set up the suspension is a genius, a real Einstein, a master of his craft, one of a kind....., well you get the point.

3. Considering no rain ever came, did this hurt your pace in the 2nd half of the race? Did this have an affect on when your pit stop would take place?

The lack of rain did not hurt my pace, the Vodka did. My pit stop strategy was predetermined by tire wear, not weather. I had the weather part covered. I am usually always covered when it gets wet and slippery.

4. Overall Zhuhai looks to be a simple track, but is actually quite tricky to squeeze good lap times out of, what were the tricky areas for you, and what areas did you enjoy?

Yes there are a few tricky areas that can kill a lap time . Turn 10 provided the most challenge. If you clipped the inside kerb, the car would be tossed to the right and then you had to lift off the gas or go off the track. Yet when you were able to nail the apex properly the amount of speed carried through the turn made for a great lap time. A smile came across my face every time I was able to get that turn correct.

5. Please provide a summary of how your drive went in Race 1?

I was able to put the HFAF, OLH racing, Garton, WMD portal, UD Media, CRCP – Carbon Racing Car Parts sponsored Ginetta in fourth position on the grid for the first race. I went round and round and finished 3rd. Remembering race 1 is tough, a lot of time has passed, 6 days. In case you are not aware I suffer from a medical condition, CRS. ??

6. Please provide a summary of hour your drive went in Race 2?

I remember race 2 a little bit more. The great racing with chadbaseball and hazad. Close bumper to bumper for many laps. I also remember chasing down Zi. As we entered into the pits, Zi spun, I was able to get in front of him and thought what a great advantage. Until my drunk arse pit crew dragged their sorry buts in slow motion. I sat their in the pits and watched Zi pass me. 15 seconds later I was finally left the pits. Lost the race due to the pit stop. The remainder of the race and perhaps the best racing I had all night was the last 3 -4 laps battling Chadbaseball. Swapping positions and not paint. The only regret, time ended to soon. Respect to you Mr. chadbaseball.

7. Your thoughts / concerns on this past season, and moving forward to the next?

This past season got me back into the drivers seat after a long long break. I will squash any rumors to my sudden departure, I was not in jail, or rehab, did not have plastic surgery or a sex change operation, did not try sheep farming, and I am not pregnant. (That last one was close.) With most of my issues in the rear view mirror, I look forward to completing all the races next season with a new car, team mate, clean glass, and plenty of ice. This is a great group of guys who know how to race clean and hard. Yet more importantly to me is the laughter and banter we share. I do not race this game to feed my family, nor to pursue a racing career, first place or last place not an issue, I race this game for FUN, always have, always will.

Season 2, overall, was fantastic with some of the closest racing we have seen yet! Next season will be even better with drivers getting faster every race, and upping the challenge with car selection. Until next time, PITS Reporting will be watching you, from the Racing Line.

Great report! How do you like writing in the third person?
