Hey guys, back from vacation. Going to give this a try as I can't race Tuesday's this month.
I don't tune so all I have done is move the longitudinal weight forward the two clicks as suggested. Have some of you gone further and done lots of changes?
Also, I don't see anywhere in the thread about tire compound? Is this up to us as well?
I will fill out the form today to join.

No need to fill it out. That was for track selection. Happy to see you. As for tuning I would also recommend lowering the rear downforce to 3. Also tire pressures which I don't have numbers for. You will be in div 2 this season. Everyone has a little over 24 hrs to for their teams. Once season 1 race 1 starts there won't be any team applications accepted.

And is there anywhere that explains how to get the pitstops to work!! I must be doing something wrong as I can't get fresh tires. I saved my car settings to ALL. So do you have to go into edit tuning in lobby and do the pit settings there and then type in a name to save?

What time you thinking of going on, I have to go out this evening but not until around 8est.
It's not really pit strategy help, more about how to get the **** set up in the first place. Not much help online that I can find. It would be nice to have a guide to stuff like this, drives me nuts!

Time zone issues.... you'll be gone before I get home from work. You can run which ever tire compound you want to. the fuel is the only tricky thing as the gauge is figuring how much fuel you want in the car at the pit stop time. If you set it to 10L but come into the pits with 30L on board you will not get any fuel. you have to plan out when you are going to pit and how much fuel you will have at that time then add what you need to finish the race.

Ex: start race 40L
pit at half race with 5L left
Need to have the fuel set for at least 35L to finish race theoretically.

Tires: set the pressures to the same or as close to the same as you are starting the race with. set to symmetrical to get all the same tire compounds. hard, soft, rain....

If you are going to do multiple stops then the tires are going to be the same just adjust the fuel strategy as needed.

I'm having trouble with the whole pit set up deal. When you first pic the car do you save to "All" or the specific track we will be racing at?. Then when in lobby, you have to go to edit pit stop. So here you do your settings then you have to save that by giving it a name right? Then when entering the pit, that box comes up, so you have to quickly choose the name of the set up you want?
Also, when creating a lobby, I couldn't get the mandatory pit stop to unlock.
Sorry for the questions, but I guess this old brain just isn't working like it should

You can set up the pit strategy in either a practice lobby or during qualifying. Once you set it up, name it and save it will always be there. you set it up in the menu while you are in your pit box. you want to select it and press triangle so that it says yes next to it. when you pit it will be the one shown and you just hit close as you come into the pits. the work will not begin until you hit close. If you set up multiple strategies, say one for repairs only you can switch to that strategy as you are coming down the pit lane, select the one you want then hit close.

What types of lap times are you folks running? Best I got is a 1:34.8. Can't seem to keep this beast between the grass either, but I'm probably just a little rusty

That's a second fast than I'm running. I'd say your doing just fine. In fact I don't think you should practice anymore. Haha

actually it looks like that 1:34.7 was a big fat fluke. Best I can do consistently is a 1:36.5. Really enjoying this combo tho. Fun car
