Play Gran Turismo Sport and Get Coaching From Lewis Hamilton

Wouldn't be surprised to see a 'theme' of professionals getting involved with games, start popping-up in other games after this, like the F1 series for example.

Especially with how every opinion-survey, like the WEC one, puts emphasis on fan-engagement. Call-o-dooty probably didn't work out too well for Lewis. ;)

Also, I am crossing my fingers that Lewis gave Kaz a lil heat for not including any Open Wheelers....Yet :D.

^That.

One did the homework and knew how to handle technical-issues in Baku, the other didn't and panicked hard. The list goes on and on about how Nico is a legitimate champion, but this isn't the place to discuss it.

What is this "list" you speak of?

Metaphorical, but if you need an actual short list, the 2016 season review would highlight things such as his consistency (race starts), his discipline of the craft (though not perfect), and his dedication across the season (aka not snap-chatting during interviews).

I could also ask what makes some think he isn't a legitimate champion and watch some actual straw-grasping, but as I've said this isn't the place for it, and this is my last post on the subject here.

Nico won '16 due to Hamilton's car failures more than anything else. Lewis even made up the deficit halfway through, only to have more car failure. Nico is a good F1 Pilot. But all things equil he wouldn't have beat Lewis. He's not good enough.

Nico commonly used Hamilton's telemetry also. I honestly don't blame him for getting out early, and taking the win while he could. Those beatings Hamilton put on him from childhood karting on up to F1 must've been traumatizing. (I'm being totally serious).

Probably just a bunch of excuses to avoid acknowledging the fact that suspiciously poor reliability last year decided the title rather than it going to the best driver.

Not to mention Merc switching pit crews on the drivers last year then all of a sudden, out of 8 drivers with merc engines, only 1 had any failures, and that 1 driver had 3 OF THEM. Lewis Hamilton is obviously the driver I'm speaking of.

But of course, lots of people don't like Lewis and won't admit the fact that reliability won the title for Nico.

 I don't think you realize how mic drops are supposed to work. Usually its when people say something profound, or when they have a brilliant rebuttal, not simply saying "this isn't the place for it and this is my last post on the subject"

Was hesitating on the purchase but this made me change my mind.
Can't wait until next week.

Seriously??? You'll be greatly rewarded either way though. I had an absolute blast with the demo all week.

US GP.

Does anyone have an update on when we are getting the supposed coaching by Lewis?

I was just wondering the same thing today. During the video he mentioned his tendency to be an aggressive driver, so I'm hoping if/when it does release, it will serve as an expansion of the racing etiquette.

Would rather they focus on a quality offline mode with a good car and track list than focusing on flashy endorsements.

I agree, I'm not interested in the endorsement so much. I'm more concerned about the idea of GTS providing guidance as to dealing with certain scenarios that you may come across when racing humans. As it stands the Racing Etiquette is the only part of GTS that I was expecting more from.
