In GT Auto > Custom Parts > Wheels we have three different wheels that are referred to as "Classic Wire Knock-off". They are: Plain, 2Bar and 3Bar. I can't tell the difference between them at all. Could someone please explain to me what the difference is between these 3 sets of wheels?

The difference is in the center of the wheels. Look at the wheel below, it's got three bars pointing out from the center of the wheel. That's just like the 3Bar wheel in GT6. The 2Bar wheel has got two bars, and the plain hasn't got any bars.

Edit: I think the term that's often used is "blades". So the wheel above is a 3 blade wheel. The wheel below is a 2 blade wheel.

OMG! I always thought the "2Bar" or "3Bar" was referring to the "spokes" or whatever those are called on a car's rim. I used to stare at the spokes looking for something that was different. Thank you, so much...

Is the GT Pro firce wheel interchangeable with other steering wheels?
Kind of a strange question to ask in a thread about rims...

What do you mean "interchangeable"? Are you asking if you can remove the actual wheel and replace it with a different size/style wheel? If that's what you mean, then the answer is "No..."

@JDSOCK If you're a fan of the Logitech wheels, they just came out with a new wheel called the Logitech G29. It looks like a combination between their older Driving Force GT and G27. It might seem a little pricey, but remember that this Logitech G29 set WILL work with the PS4 as well as PS3 and PC. Your current wheel won't work with the PS4, if you plan on going that route when GT7 comes out.... Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

Great explanation Eran!

The game calls them 2 bar and 3 bar, but these are normally known in the car world as "ears" - I expect that "Bar" is a Japanese translation and the game designers were unaware of their English name (or Bar may be a miss spelling of Ear. They are normally called three eared knock offs or two eared knock offs - so called because the central wheel nut is knocked on or off by a soft faced mallet during pit stops. the left hand wheels have an opposite thread to the wheels on the right side so that in both cases the wheels tighten rather than loosen when the car is driven.
