Ok... Bump transition value?.. I don't recall... to be honest the only thing I change is brake pressure, bias and gears. So basically the stock set up now sucks even more?... ok thx...I'll try tuning.
But you make a good point for SMS to fix it for no tuning leagues. SMS, Please fix this car!!!
Test how it goes after rising bump transition click higher.
It's pretty par on Mustang after it.

Ps. Have you started your tune from scratch after update, or using old tune? Nearly all my old tunes are unusable after patch, so much changed after patch at had to do from scratch all tunes.

I was very interested in your thread @yogi bear because I've got a Camaro championship planned for late summer as a tribute to Mark Donoghue and my league will also be using the car again as part of a Historic touring car championship.

Ford won the Trans Am championship in 66, 67 and 70. Chevrolet took it in 68 and 69 and AMC in 71 and 72. I don't know why SMS gave us a 66 "Trans Am" Mustang Fastback. The logical competitor for the 69 Camaro would be a 69 or 70 Boss 302 Mustang - I would have much preferred this and it would also have fitted better with the model years of the other cars in GTA and GTB - this was a strange choice and recently SMS have dropped the power of the Camaro from 450 to 410bhp in an attempt to reduce its performance to match the lower powered Mustang. This wouldn't have been necessary if they had chosen a Boss 302 as it had very similar power and performance to the 69 Camaro.

I have done a lot of testing of both these cars and when the 66 Mustang was added I was disappointed with how uncompetitive it was - not surprising as it was 50bhp down. On the default loose setup at Silverstone Classic it was about 1.5 seconds slower than the Camaro. Since the update that has dropped to about 0.7 seconds, but the Camaro still laps faster. I tried a slower circuit (Sakitto Sprint) and for me the Mustang was about 0.25 seconds slower.

I didn't encounter any problems with the handling of either car on default loose settings however I tested other cars which we are planning to use and found the handling on some had deteriorated markedly. The Escort RS1600 Racing is now difficult to drive - requires a delicate touch - it feels like it has no grip at the rear which is how it felt when the game was first released.

Prior to the update the Merc AMG 6.8 was evenly matched with the BMW 2002 SW, but the latter has now lost about six seconds per lap so any hopes I had for that race series are now out the window unless SMS fix the default setup (we race tuning prohibited). Over the four updates the performance of the Merc and BMW has fluctuated wildly.

I would second an earlier comment in this thread about headlamps - let all the cars have them so that we can also enjoy them at night - also this would not be completely historically inaccurate - in 1968 there was a shortage of prototypes because of a change in regulations (the drop to 3 litres) so to fill the grid the Trans Am Mustangs and Camaros were added, competeing at the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona.

A final thought - I wish SMS would split GTA - the saloons shouldn't be mixed in with the sports cars. If people wanted to they could use the multi-class option to put them back together. I am always a bit uncomfortable racing the Camaro or Mustang in a field with an SCCA B Production winning V12 E Type - that car should be racing against C3 Corvettes and early Porsche 911's not Trans Am saloons. Maybe SMS could put the Camaro and Mustang in GTB with the big Merc and the BMW 2002 SW - I always race those two classes together, but wish the Jag, Ferrari and Datsun (Nissan) weren't in there spoiling the immersion.

Yep, I hear you. I had suggested a full trans am class for p2 way back. I'm talkin boss 302. 69 z28, Aar Cuda, cougar, challenger etc. ..oh and the stock tune on the camaro brake pressure and bias,... hell of a time not locking up the rear.
If they ever brought gt legends to PS4.... I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The only reason I quit playing it on pc is there was too much downloading custom liveries some guys kept making. Slowed the pc down, every time I jumped on to play had 1/2 of downloads...
Before that it was a fantastic game. Great handling cars, competitive classes, awesome sound. I could tell where my competitors were just by sound. You could hear if they were left, right, how close... choice of replay views were great also.
