This one looks life my type of competition 👍 I'll see tomorrow what can I bring :D

Trying to kill Bram with the theme? lol. Speaking of, I haven't seen him around in a while. So I guess this is out of the question?

You are correct David...

A "secret" for a great realist shot starts in choosing a camera, and then adjust well the angle to give the wanted feeling.

LDS - Good one, thats things like that this theme is all about 👍

HOLY **** C_F and NTX!

I don't stand a flaming chance in hell, much less against you guys, LdS, or even SweetShop (I LOVE THAT ANGLE!)

anyway for the formality of it,

NEW FINAL ENTRY:

FINAL ENTRY

If there is something wrong with this one, I don't know what the heck I'm gonna do.

i think you do actually ! and i'm not just saying that. one of the greatest i seen from you.

it looks a lot like it came from an old 911 turbo or the 917 porsche. either way it really suits the car:tup:

Thanks tupac. I like your shot, the angle and the rendering of the car are really good. If only the car was just a little more far from the end of the frame…but that is just me picking on ya :P:tup:

NTX has also a pretty sweet shot (my favorite so far). I like how yellowish the grass is , combining with the yellow car.

hey, pick on me. people don't get better unless other people pick on em.

I went with a closer camera angle because it showed the reflection better, and because I wanted to apply the law of thirds. having the car dead centre shot is boring.

I'd love to see it all cleaned up, but i haven't the skill for it.

PS: thanks for the comments everyone. I really like that area for photo travel. too bad the GT4 graphics lose alot of flair form TV to computer.

That was a great shot man! I think I'd like to edit it. It's a RUF:D

If someone else could do it it'd be good.

I just wish I could. I've tried the tutorials...and it hasn't gone over too well, maybe I'm rushing, but I just don't seem to be a photoshop wonder (yet I am on par or ahead of my class with my CAD in architecture?)

Also: Excellent shot. nothing else to say. it's just great, as always!

Fine, I won't :P

That type of shot is rather difficult to cleanup in 2.0 also. I think the most you could do with this for pmc is a little hue/saturation do tone down the greens an cyans in the hood, but that would detract from the background. the only other thing I could think of is to move the camera back and zoom in on the car more. :indiff:

Thanks man!
also, nice choice in CAD, I took mechanical design and architecture in college a couple years back. Is architecture an interest of yours?

Yes, actually. I've tailored my classes in HS to take Civil and mechanical engineering in University. I hope to eventually take my Masters at least in Civil and Mechanical, and hopefully, once I'm old and gray, take a Ph. D in Civil.

I'll probably still be fiddling with PS to clean up GT4 shots!

Actually, I spent some time with Bram's guide, and went wild for a bit. came up with something decent. gonna have to revive my gallery (if it's even still around!) and throw it up. came out good enough for a first "real" attempt at clean up. (that stuff with the CTR2 was almost embarrassing).

it helps with these things to be artistically minded. Luckily I am :P. I'm a bit of a sketcher (reference material. I'm nowhere near a level where i can do it from my head yet).

EDIT: check the galleries board. :D

Nice shot pal, but don't the rules say NO Phototravel?

Hehe..I was top of my graphics design class back in year 9 and 10....and that was mainly on CAD too. I was alright, but I really shon through when the project was to make a magazine cover - but the catch was to not include stuff you got off the internet - or any other copyrighted stuff. So what did I do? Got a Viper and drifted it round infineon a few times. Lets just say the result was far better than the other car related ones (where it'd be an out of focus, wrongly lit hatchback with the guy's familly in the background haha)

I've been trying a really good shot, but can't seem to get it right (it was for the 2.0 Renault comp). If I get it right, it shall be the opening piece for my gallery.

Tupac - real sorry, but I think you have to do your's again....damn

argh.....

blarg....

*grumbles at idiocy of not re-reading rules*

new entry is up. see original post.
