Poll - Bored of GT5

I'm waiting for GT6... But the Course Maker is still keeping me interested in GT5 - you got to love making new tracks and trying to find the perfect settings!

I play it very rarely because I find that there is a great lack of things to be doing once you've completed even half of the game. Now GT6 is only around 3 weeks away I might have the odd session of GT5 for about 20 minutes.

I mean it will be better if they don't mix up standard cars and tracks with all-new "premium" content. If they just say: We have all new PS3 content, but we really don't want to throw off all those cars and tracks from previous games, so we put them in separate game mode, and desprite how they looks - it will be fun for our fans."

So what your suggesting is we have to different game modes for standards and premiums? No, having both of them in the same game mode is a good thing and the fact that PD has closed the gap of distinguishment between standards and premiums by putting them in the same dealership is a good thing as well. Soon it'll come to a point where "standard" only means hasn't got a detailed cockpit so widening the gap by putting them in two different game modes and not allowing you to mix and match them just sounds ridiculous.

I've been playing GT3 and 4 whilst I've been waiting, and I have to say I've been having a lot of fun on my old PS2. I play GT3 for the career and championships because they're really fun, and GT4 because of the amount and variety of tracks.

Same here,
GT4 still has a better best track list than GT6. The menus are fast and the PS2 can boot into GT4 in less time than it takes to reach the home screen on the PS3.

Still, I can't wait for GT6, but I would still play GT5 now if I had the time for serious online races.

I understand what you mean, but to me problem is that GAP between premiums and standards are too big. Premiums looks more like PS4 era (above "typical" PS3 quality), while standards looks like from prev-gen. So almost 2 generation gap.

Yes but like I said closing the gap between standards and premiums is better than widening it by hiding them behind a "GT classic" mode.

I'm doing the same and I also played them while waiting for GT5.

I think I'll make it a tradition to revisit the older GT games whenever a new one is approaching, so I can remind myself what made this series so great in the first place.

Despite it's faults, GT5 is still the best video game I've ever played. Get's used almost every day. 90% online in a group/league and 10% offline. No vote for me in the limited poll.

Can't wait for GT6 and it's improvements.

I rarely play GT5 anymore as I'm all over Grand Theft Auto 5. The only times I play are when I'm practicing and racing in the Integra RM Cup.

I've rarely have been playing gt5, but only because work and responsibilities have been getting in the way. So, I am playing gt5 again on a limited basis and usually do those weekly challenges. Forza4 got in the way for sometime though after the gt5 launch. GT is my love, we had our tiff and now we're back at it.

When work releases the rope from my neck, i'm gonna get some of my gt3 and 4 tunes that i built and put them into gt5 and see if they work. 2003 viper and audi rs6 (or its a 4) estate that i just got right.

So...i voted for playing rarely, because i might go weeks without having time to even touch a controller.

Played GT5 exactly once this year; when i visited Madrid in march and wanted to compare it with GT5's Madrid circuit afterwards...

(I do own FM4 tough which i still play, as that is nr. 1 in my book)

I pop in GT5 every now and then. i didn't bring my rig to college with me so I just don't want to play with a controller.
though if I did brought it I woud probably do 2-3 races with it and turn off the PS3.
