Choose one. This is to get a picture of what most people here on the GTP thread intend to focus on once they get their hands on the game. Should be interesting to see the results. đź‘Ť

Drag racing and random cruising/racing in public lobbys when it somes to driving. Seconds, tuning :)

Yeah man, we'll finally have actual drag racing again. Can't wait to get my engine swappage on again. I haven't played since 2.

Yeah man, hopefully dragers from gt5 community will also join. I will be focusing on 1 mile drag i think, because 1/4 mile is to short distance for me :) Hope we can use the same skills as we did in gt5 for tuning....

Mostly singleplayer, but I'll be abusing the hell out of the Rivals Mode. Autolog was right up my alley in Shift 2, and now I can have something similar in a better game. Sign me up!

Mostly single player for sure. But the day I get the game, I am setting up the car club for this forum so that people can at least access that.

Just a reminder, my game doesn't ship to my house same day, so have patience until I get the GTP car club up.

Woah...was not aware that Rivals was Autolog! Oh my, my, one of the best features implemented in a racing game was Autolog and now we get it in FM4? I am very happy.

Well, it's not a 100% copy, but you can set times (I think not only for tracks, but events, too, not too sure) and your friends will be asked to beat that. When they do, you can beat them as well... You're even given money for doing so.

My memory's a bit hazy right now (🤬 disease), but it seemed like it was clearly inspired by Autolog. Which made me quite happy, too :dopey:

Mostly singleplayer...

Try to set up a car club for me and my friends...

And oh, using autovista all day to drool about the SLS AMG <3

wow, many offline players, strange since we living in 2011, its all about online these days, i hope in the future they will only have online modes...

Mostly single player.

I will tune some cars, but don't see the point in buying them so I'm not going to sell them.(they are obviously tuned to fit my style which is likely different than everyone else's).

I plan on painting a few cars, I'm already planning a series of paint schemes I plan on doing(just hope I can translate the images in my head to the car:lol:).

I also would like to get a photomode gallery going, I just hope it doesn't get flooded with edited shots like the GT5 section was last I checked.:yuck:

I'm going to have to get more active on Forzacentral or FM.net so I can build a friend list of more than 10 people.

Fixed for you...

You know, people that think that everyone should have to obey to their rules are the prime reason why I like me some offline and asynchronous online gaming more than actual multiplayer, most of the time.

Hmm, it is interesting to see that most people that've voted so far are going to focus on offline enjoyment, which is just as fun for them as online for us online fans.

I'd think it's because Forza's offline mode is expansive and a lot of fun, lots to do. I couldn't ever imagine playing GT5 offline exclusively but if I had to, I could definitely do that with Forza.

I just love the competition though, so I'm gonna be mostly racing online and setting up leagues.

I'll most likely do the same thing I did when I bought Forza 3, which is to start off with singleplayer. If it's anything like F3 though, then I can see myself spending a huge amount of time doing singleplayer races.

Apart from that, I will most likely end up tuning my cars, making custom liveries and perhaps try some online races.

I figure 60 to 70% of my time will be spent singleplayer racing, 30% on other stuff like making liveries or browsing Storefront (I presume returns for FM4) and Auction House, and 0% multiplayer racing.

Why is everybody against multiplayer online, no wonder developers dont care about good multiplayer implementation.....

Because Multiplayer in Forza 3 encourages car wrecking and the general behavior of drivers is usually appalling.

Well, thats good, because we now have custom public lobbys, where the host is in charge. Or maybe you dont have the right "equipment" to play online :sly:

Since I probably won't have Live for the first few weeks, focusing on single player makes sense. Past that though, I see myself having a lot of "project cars"; setting up a tune just for my own personal enjoyment, painting liveries, and doing a photo gallery here will probably be how most of it is spent. Justin, I have to ask - what's wrong with (lightly) edited shots? :)

Good thing I held off on buying a system - this area is almost exclusively 4gb models on Kijiji or craigslist, so I was gonna play it safe and buy new. Gamestop had a bundle that came with 250gb new model with vouchers for Alan Wake, Gears 2, Fable 3, Halo Wars, and Halo 3, for $300, but since none of those interest me past Alan Wake, I would've tried to sell them (and who knows how successful that'd be). But now... there's a price drop for the 250gb system to $250. Handy!

This should be multiple selection, but for the most part, I enjoy playing offline the most. Too many immature people online prevent it from being enjoyable.

I'll be playing through the world tour for the first few weeks. Then my time will be split racing online in a league and running a school for beginner and intermediate level drivers who want to learn to race properly.

At first I thought you said you wont live for the first few weeks. I was like "wow man that's f'ed up" lol

As far as the lady is concerned, I'll practically be dead when it comes to spending time with her :sly:.
