Polyphone001 Race car, who else has won it?

I got an unbelievable car rewarded today when I won the super speedway endurance race (100 laps, last one in the series).

The car is called Polyphone 001 and sells (if sold) for $825.000

It seems to be a formula one car and here are some of the specs:

840hp, 520kg in weight (!), looks great and drives perfectly!

You should be able to win any race with that car! I dashed down the 1000m in under 15 seconds, the 400m in under 8 !

I accomplished that race with my Honda Raybrig race car, level 4 turbo with 1045hp. I was 13 laps (!) ahaed of the runner up!

Anyone else who got it? Perhaps the US Version features a different name for it?

Yeah, the only F1 type car we can win on the Super Speedway is the F090/S. It doesn't have 850 HP or sell for 825,000 credits though...


I've won 2 of 'em, and they're okay...


THe most laps I've been a head was 34 usin' the Escudo...

Actually the Escudo sucks for everything except Top Speed Runs. The only reason I used it on the Super Speedway Endurance is because it hauls ass, and I could get average lap times of 22-25 seconds on the Super Speedway...

Hi, Yes I have the Polyphony001, on the European version, and it's not 850hp.
When I won it, it was 790hp, then after an oil change 829hp, 100% certain.
mmm, I'll just switch the PS2 back on to see what mine is worth!!
ahh, 875,000 credits, $ or £ whatever.
BTW the Polyphony002 sells for only 300,000 (F687/S or F688/S) not sure.
