There is no "lanes", but essentially both drivers will take the Moto Chicane on every lap and Lane Choice refers to the start being the Inside run into turn 1 or the Outside

Yes after the start you can use and part of the racing line you want to try and get around your competition

Could we get some clarification on how the cars are supposed to be set up? do we use powerlimiter or something to bring them to the correct specs, because I bought all cars, and straight out of the box, no oilchange or anything, they have these specs:
-AUDI R8 LMS ULTRA '12: 588pp, 528bhp, 1250kg
-KTM X-BOW R '12: 555pp, 298bhp, 790kg
-Mitsubishi Lacer Evolution X Rally Car: 539 pp, 441bhp, 1115kg
-Renault Sport Megane Trophy '11: 511pp, 359bhp, 955kg
-Subaru BRZ R&D Sport '12: 510pp, 345bhp, 1150kg

Almost all of them differ from the specs in the OP, some have more power than OP, som less, and many also differ in performance points...

Just make sure all cars are stock with an oil change. The specs in the OP are incorrect.
