You will be allowed to change your entry only once.
If you fail to submit your entry by the given deadline, you will automatically forfeit your match.
Deadline is exactly 5 days from the time this post was made.

Since this tournament has generated such interest, and there are more people asking if there is going to be another, i will try to continue haveing tournaments on a regular basis, just like the other comps. As long as people are interested, i will keep it going.
This first tournament has given me a general idea of how things should go in future tournaments.
There will be no more mixing PS preferences.(sorry Div)
There will be no more extra polls, for being an hour late.(sorry vr6)
I have made a new set of rules, to try to keep it consistent, and interesting for everyone whos enters.

1st: There will be 2 divisions, in each tournament. PMC and 2.0. There will be 2 winners in every tournament. You may enter only one division.
2nd: Every tournament will start with 16 competitors for each division. 32 total. This will make the rounds more even. 16-8-4-2-1
3rd: You must qualify for each tournament. During the final round of each tournament, there will be a qualifying round for the next tournament. The top 14 in votes, in each division of the qualifying round, will continue on into the tournament. The 4 finalists in each tournament will automatically qualify for the next tournament and will not have to make a qualifying photo.
4th: There will be 4 rounds in every tournament, so each tournament will last only 4 weeks. Matches will no longer have themes. This way no one will have a theme they dont like. Instead, each round will be specific, to a certain part of GT4.

Qualifying round: Production cars.
Any tracks. No phototravel.
Round 1: Race cars.
Randomly chosen types of race cars at any track that is not a special condition track.
Round 2: Special conditions.
Randomly chosen types of cars, with a choice of 2 different special condition tracks.(1 paved, 1 dirt/snow)
Round 3 (semi-finals): Phototravel:
A specific type of cars at any phototravel location.
Round 4 (finals): Open

I've also considered the possibility of a provisional round, where anyone that didnt qualify for the tournament could compete in an additional round, and the 1 winner from each PS division would automatically qualify for the next tournament. That way there would definately be at least 2 new people in the next tournament. Plus, that would give them something to do while they are waiting for the next qualifying round. But i'm not sure if i want to do that yet.

Yeah, that's what keeps coming to my mind, March Madness. Except this year the Kentucky Wildcats (my favorite hoops school) are probably not going to be in the big dance. They really stunk this year. But hey, we got GT4 Madness, what else do we need!

It's a schedule for the for future tournaments, until it changes. Since this is about being the best all around at photomode, i figured we should try to cover several aspects of it, throughout the tournament. The types of cars will change randomly,(i.e. british, honda, skyline, 70's, etc...) but the general theme will stay the same for each round.

Thanks for the support PB. I will come up with something good, even though I am not a fan of the race cars. I have a few ideas, so I'll have to give them a go tomorrow.

Funny, my school is the Arizona Wildcats, and they're also in jeopardy of missing out on the big dance, and I think both our schools hold the longest current streak of NCAA tournaments made (24 and 21?)

Yes, it will be applied to all tournaments. Just the ones on the list can enter, because they are the only ones left in this tournament.

Yeah, it will be so hard to not be able to clean up all the poor textures and polygons, but it's the same for everybody. TF, I am assuming that from here on out the standard photomode rules will be in use?

I'd rather not, but this round would be kinda pointless if we didnt have an entry from everyone. I suppose an extra day would be ok, as long as none of the other competitors has a problem with it. We'll just have to have a 2 day poll.

If you, franz, jacoja, or Revo goes out this round, then there would be 5 PMC PS'ers, and 3 2.0 PS'ers, so then it would probably be PMC for the remaining 3 rounds. If one of the others goes out, it would be 4 and 4, so we could seperate them, have 2 winners, end this one a week earlier, and get the next one started sooner.

I'm loving this tournament! This is propably my biggest achievement in any type of PMCs so far. Final 9... Hopefully I can make it to the top8.
