Cheers for the reply Sir, you're a true gent. This will cause a laugh. I bought a PS4 after launch, ready for GT7 Prologue! PMSL! Then, like a freak, I upgraded to a PS4 Pro in April, in readiness for running GTS at its "best" LOL. When the news of tracks/cars sank into my broken mental head, I was gutted. I know, I need to get out more lol. Sold my 4Pro and upgraded my PC when the CPU died. I know I'll be back, once Polyphony give me reasons. GTS, has been the most expensive game I've never bought lol. Stop laughing you lot !!
The things we do for the racing genre eh peeps. BTW, I was the same (Opel TCR) spooky that...
I remember in GT5/6(?) I'd run the Aston Martin V12 Vantage at Nord (my fave track), and downgraded the tyres to add to the challenge, just to help compensate for the amount of grip in the handling model. Good times. Hoping for something similar when GTS lands. GTS being the price it is, I do hope it covers some real extra FIA tracks, but have no problem backing P.D as I always have done, providing news is forthcoming ref track content/timespans. I do agree with you that more real tracks will land in future.
BTW, agree with you also ref Gr.4/Tour content too, 100%. For me, that's where the most fun will be had. The way I see it, yeah, GT3 is lovely - all race cars are cool, but stuff like Clio Cup, Abarth 500 Corse, Mini Challenge, and old race cars would be awesome diversions from the top tier stuff too. I sadly hate VGT cars with a passion, I even hate to see them lapping with real life GT content lol. I need help I know...
I'm excited for GTS to reveal about classic type content over time too, similar to stuff like MK1 Escorts and Ferrari 365 GTB/4 etc. Obivously being a bit on the ancient side, stuff like that is cool, and is a handful too.
