Mods won't change the thread titles - so yes it does need to be posted - it's mostly the same people who just need to spend a few minutes editing their thread titles.

Then that is an issue that needs to be resolved within the staff. Part of a mods job is to correct things like this. Half of these titles will never get changed because the people that posted them simply don't care.

It's there loss because every time a post goes up with the year at the beginning instead of the end, within a day or two it gets lost and therefore doesn't get many likes because it's hard to find. I regularly look through these threads alphabetically to see for instance which Fords or Ferraris have been posted - sadly a fair number of suggestions are effectively lost because of poor titling by a few people.

I don't think you can expect Mods to alter the titles because I am sure they already have plenty of other things to do, but if they threatened to delete all the suggestions with incorrect titles perhaps some posters would take notice.

I don't think it would make a huge difference honestly.

The mods have a lot to do sure, but things like this is part of their job.

I would know, I'm staff on several forums and forums of my own.

If it was such a big deal, the staff would get a handle on it since people simply don't care. It's that simple. Otherwise it seems like all you are doing is boosting your post count.
