In my view you can't have too many Porsche 917's - vote also for the Porsche 917/30 can Am thread. A relatively large number of these cars were made - 25 were sold to privateers so if it was added to the game many liveries could be possible as well as the classic Gulf Oil livery.

Excellent idea....
Unfortunately it's not going to happen. EA has a lock on all Porsche licenses. That's why we are stuck with RUF Porsches.

Nice short clip of a Porsche 917LH museum demonstration - nice to see a museum where the cars are kept in running order and regularly get brought out and demonstrated to visitors.

Any Porsche 917 would be welcome in the game! Especially the 917 Can Am to see how it would compare to the Chaparral 2J fan car.
