The ultimate summit for precise modelling and rendering this gen.
Apologies for what was a vague statement. The Taycan part is absolutely fine, it's the use of Turbo on an EV which is ridiculous.Taycan is a Turkish word which means lively young horse first time hearing such a word since I speak Turkish. It has to do with horses. I think the word is still used by people who raise horses in Turkey I have to look into it because when I first heard Taycan im like what a ridiculous name.
Porsche chose the name because it pays homage to its emblem which is the horse which makes sense but the name comes as Toucan to me which is the tropical bird LOL
I wish the Porsche LMP2000 can at least feature in a racing game such a shame that not many people even know about this car. Its dna can be seen in the Porsche Carerra GT and the Porsche RS Spyder.
You seem to be forgetting that it takes considerably more effort to model a car for a mobile game compared to a full console game
"turbo"? Why?

Those models look like garbage. Then lets take a look at Forza 7's then, if we are operating under the assumption that a mobile game is not a fair comparison (which, I can see) ?

Kind of does blow GT Sport out of the water a fair bit, but then again, half of the historic GT cars (Which really, is the biggest boon with a good use of the Porsche license) would be pushed into Group X by virtue of PD's crap class structure anyway, so yeah.
1. What year Real Racing 3 released? 2013.
2. Since when Porsche starts opening up the contracts to the rest of devs? Around 2016.
3. Who starts the Porsche exclusivity deal that effectively blocks the other devs since the 90s? EA.
Atleast do some research.
911 GT1Great to see an new partnership between Porsche and a games dev team like PD.
Kunos Simulazione also got a great partnership with Porsche in 2016,being assetto the first genuine sim Game to offer the german brand again after EA exclusivity.
Was also great to see that Kunos made the sims of the "Porsche experience centers" with the assetto corsa pro programme.

Those cars would be no match for the 917.True, but atleast it would have company with the 330 P4, the mark IV, the Daytona Coupe and the XJR 13 and would be used in the same event you mentioned...The Living Legend will be another modern concept car relegated to a class which i couldn't give less of a crap about, like the tons of VGTs without interior that i have never ever driven before and have no interest in driving in the future.
not even forza is a fair comparison because t10 exports the production of the models to external companies, in addition to having a workforce of over 400 people and therefore they can afford to have many cars in a reasonable time at the expense of the quality of construction, that is not comparable to the PD .Then lets take a look at Forza 7's then, if we are operating under the assumption that a mobile game is not a fair comparison (which, I can see) ?

From what I'm told it won't be happening any time soon.Hopefully we will get an update on the Formula E cars with this partnership and Porsche participating
Without question PD have the best 3D modelling in the entire game’s industry. And I’m not just talking about car titles.
Yes it was... but only if you paid for the 3 DLC packs or the season pass, otherwise it was only 3 or 4 cars .*Snip*

Ps:however there is no need to let people know all the time that you don't like the game
Respectfully of course.Free forum, I can criticize the game as much as I want.
When something like the Macan comes to a game it is usually a promotion with the publisher or such.Won't be surprised they could add the Macan knowing PD
Yeah but we are not talking about exagonal headlights which may be some sort of a lod bug,in forza you have far more poorer material shaders and sometimes totally sproportionated cars.I mean...I can point out the 930 Turbo's headlights, and the FT-1's hexagonal exhaust tips as errors in Polyphony's modeling that they still haven't fixed, and chances are, won't. The modeling process might not be as infallible as people expect it to be?

Yes,they give for free the 3 SUV Cars from Porsche.Yes it was... but only if you paid for the 3 DLC packs or the season pass, otherwise it was only 3 or 4 cars .
But don't forget that pretty much all of the cars were added through paid DLC, not free updates.Great to see an new partnership between Porsche and a games dev team like PD.

I bought it on release, and luckily got the season pass when it was on sale .Yes,they give for free the 3 SUV Cars from Porsche.
But i understand that a small dev company like Kunos goes the DLC way before digital Bros buyed Kunos.
Anyway, now you have also the full edition of the Game with all Cars and tracks launched in a single disc
Because deep down we're all 12 years old and everything is cooler with turbo.
And aero kits.
You joke. But only the OG Boys remember that Daihatsu Mira bug with very high Horsepower from Turbo in GT6 before PD eventually patched it.Because deep down we're all 12 years old and everything is cooler with turbo.
And aero kits.
