Like those Infinity shots! Very interesting of color and location combination! Like the reflections!

Aha! Finally someone who shows a little love for the Infiniti :) Great shots! And the F10 set is cool! I like the 'aggresive' contrast đź‘Ť

Cheers guys đź‘Ť I kinda got a bit of love for the Infiniti the more I got to know it ( ... that sounds wierd when I read it back lol ) though the lack of 'panels' and a glass roof make it awkward to photograph.

F1 shots are amazing!

Great shots. You done well with the F1.

Thanks a lot :) The F10 shots went through a heavy edit to get the result I wanted, was looking for something you might see hanging on the wall of a trendy bar or night-club.... or my New York loft apartment :D... we can all dream can't we?

Love the Infinity and F1 photos. Your last F1 photo before the tryptychs is my favorite of the F1s. I was trying to do some tryptychs in Gymp the other night and couldn't get it to work right. Time to actually read their tutorial... ugh. :yuck: (Unless, of course, you have some quick pointers... :dopey:)

Edit - I read the info on your tryptychs thread, and the tryptychs were done in PS, which I don't have... There seems to be some significant differences in Gimp v. PS that I'll have to wrap my head around.

Glad you like the 'tryptychs' Primus :) Not overly familiar witth Gimp but I hear its quite an uder-rated piece of editing software and I think these are quite achievable with it. If Gimp lacks the use of layers then I can see how you may struggle with that.

I'm liking the G37 Coupe Concept, though I remember seeing the grille in my garage and noticing the detail wasn't at premium level. ;) The shots are well done, you are the only person I see on GTP regularly using 1:1 aspect ratio and somehow you pull it off :D The F10 close ups are looking good too đź‘Ť

High praise indeed :) thank you c_f. I like the old Polaroid feel with the 1:1 format and I had an old Kodak as a kid and this was all it could take shots in. Not used often on here so I thought I'd make the most of it. :)

Just a short update with my current crop of Comp entries and others that didn't quite get chosen by me.

This weeks PMC "close-ups" entry is probably my least favourite to make the poll and although I couldn't decide between red, blue and green ( went BLUE ) I did get to make a nice 'tryptych' from the results :).

My CCCL entry

a debatable choice due to the lack of easliy identifiable landmarks but was since approved by the moderator.... but just in case I had this one in reserve although I don't think it has quite the same impact IMO... make your own mind up I guess.

The 2.0 comp entry was going to be from a choice of B/W or Selective colour and I first went with a B/W shot...

...which I was going to change to this one....

....before changing over to Selective colour and finally settling on this one ( and my current fave :) ).

C & C more than welcome đź‘Ť
Catch you soon :sly:

I love the second Merc photo, much better than the first one, in my opinion :P. The 908 looks really nice too!

Awesome shots there. I really like you PMC entry and that last picture.

Like the Monaco GP poster

Gorgeous shots :)

 A huge thank you to you all :)

This is a sneak peak into what I'm trying next... got the taste for this "selective colour" thing so I thought I'd try some more Photoshop techniques... this example below shows a much cleaner result IMO than the in-game filter, this avoids those incidental colour reflections on the glass and shiny surfaces.... also this image background is not quite B/W with the colours muted down to a minimum without going completely monochrome....

.....these are a bit time and labour intensive so I'll probably only drop these in from time to time. :sly:

Very nice! đź‘Ť I also enjoyed editing for the selective colour theme and may add a few to my own gallery. :)

Beautiful shots! I like the red/blue/green grill tryptich alot. I know you went with the selective colour entry over the black and which (which I really like), but my favorite of the three was the first. Good stuff.

Many many thanks guys :)
I loved the B/W entry too but I had a lot more fun ( and a lot more work :embarrassed: ) producing the selective colour so taking my chances with that one. :sly:

Finishing off what I started with the GT-R ( who knows which one out of the dozens ?? ) that I decided to give the full CC treatment :). No reason for doing this other than just for a bit of fun and enjoyment.

Aye, I'm a Schumi fan when I was a kid but yeah, Ayrton Senna was a true legend. I also like the way you pay attention to the NSX's history with that tribute.
