I've just bough a NFS collectors edition pack with nfs underground1 + 2 and most wanted. I hope I can add underground 3 in a few month
It was Prostreet that was mentioned, which doesn't have interior view but it did have a big livery editor ad realistic physics (apart from your car wrecked as soon as it's on it's roof), for livery editor as long as their is either a marketplace to download designs or some pre-made designs (like Rivals) then I won't use itI couldn't care less if they simply make a remake of MW2012 with premade 'tuner cars'. I loved that game to pieces, even though it wasn't a true sequel to the original.
I'm curious to how they'll supposedly link ProStreet into it though... interior view? Livery editor? Realistic physics?
Colour me excited.
I know, we should be able to tune the cars how WE want.Shift physics?
Pre tuned cars?
No thanks, IMO.
It was the spiritual successor to it. Night time, races, customisation, it was all there.Carbon was not U3.
Pretty much, yes. Most Wanted was technically Underground 3. Underground, U2, MW2005 and Carbon are all direct sequels and share the same universe.
Closest thing we got, and like @Daniel said, MW was the actual sequel, same game engine, same physics, same customization.Spiritual successor does not a sequel make.
Doesn't need to be. Same game, different setting. That's what a sequel technically is right?Yet not called Underground, lol...
I do not agree at all.Doesn't need to be. Same game, different setting. That's what a sequel technically is right?
It was to some extent. A lot of the game was directly influenced by Underground.Carbon was not U3.
You have to at least agree that Carbon was similar to Underground surely.I do not agree at all.
RWB is just a body shop.Cool that they are going back to the underground style, but RWBs? When do you ever see street racers driving RWBs? Aren't those type of cars built for circuit racing?
Either way, it is still very likely that elements from both Carbon AND Underground will appear in 2015/Underground 3 (not sure what to call it as the title hasn't been officially announced yet.)Similar yes, sequel though? No.
NFS Most Wanted's chase music MUST make a return!I've been listening to the NFS:Most Wanted OST these past few days and its got me thinking that an orchestral soundtrack would be awesome in this new game. NFS:The Run also had a fantastic soundtrack.
Oh because I only first heard about RWB in Racing Rivals and had no clue about them.RWB is just a body shop.
You wot m8?Similar yes, sequel though? No.
Well I'm not sure if the character in MW/Carbon is the same one in Underground but the universe is the same. You wot m8?
Sequel:
The console/PC versions of Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon follow the same narrative with the same character in the same universe.
The Official Need For Speed Facebook page just posted this image with the caption "Are you ready for the next chapter?":
