Totally agree on the XJR15 - saw one run in anger at the Albert Park classic (in the year before the GP) alongside the XJ220 - the noise of the 12! Oh man, and they're just stunning in the metal, and they're tiny - it's a real shock, they're very small cars.

Hey - anyone who's driven a current or recent manual 2 litre or bigger 3 series will know why BMWs have such respect - they are glorious drives.

The sad thing in Sydney is that it is the preferred choice of the yuppie-wanker-wannabee (note - not implying all BMW owners are wankers, just a lot of them running around Sydney), so there's a real image problem with the 3 series - which is a shame, because they're a fantastic little sedan.
