I can't believe I've had Figaro for a
year and haven't introduced him!!!!
I went to PetSmart for the regular supplies, and found that they had an adoption special going on, just 25 bucks, with no home check, pay the man and take the kitty. There were several to choose from, a couple of adult females, but I already had two, and didn't need any more divas running around. They didn't have an adult male, but there were two tuxedo kittens, unrelated as they were rescued from different parts of town. I took home Neo, but his name had to go!!! I named him after Pinocchio's cat, Figaro.
Here is day 1 at home, estimated 8 to 10 weeks.
It was Christmas time, so there was tree mischief, of course.
He immediately took to jumping into my lap whenever I sat down. My other two cats have never been lap kitties; Chipsie will sit with me if I hold her, and then run off when I let go. Mocha will sit next to me all week, but not in my lap. So I
finally have a lap kitty again.
I'm thinking I understand where the term "copycat" comes from....
In April, looking out the window with Chipsie
The little bell-ball has to be put away at night time, or the human doesn't sleep...
June, now, in the bay window of the kitchen. It's icky and rainy outside, but the grungy look is the double-pane glass being nasty in the insides.
He thinks the throw rug in the living room is a blankie
Is there a more perfect collar for a tuxedo kitten?
This one is just a couple of weeks ago. He's all grown up and sophisti-cat-ed now. Still a lap kitty, though, but he has his "'Sup?" pose down pat.
